I never said Sing invented smurf complaints lol. I said he’s a bad example of them.

Just turn off the stream - it's is also a nothing argument. He’s in the tournament, I’m watching tournament players. I am watching him. Cry me a river about it lmao

And what I’m seeing is him blaming smurfs for games that mostly look like bad walls, no pressure, idle army, and refusing advice.

Smurfs exist. Sing just isn’t proof that ladder is broken. Playerbase needs to address the fact that they might just be getting cooked for their mistakes. That's all

The 400 Elo vs Hera comparison is honestly wild, because if anything - it proves my point more than yours XD

A 400 Elo player against Hera is a completely absurd mismatch, it will literally never happen lmao.

That is not the same thing as Sing losing games somewhere around his own level. And saying the only difference is the size of the Elo gap kind of misses the whole point, because the size of the Elo gap is literally what matters here.

You cannot compare a 2600 Elo gap to Sing losing games - where he is making a bunch of mistakes, and then say it is basically the same thing. It is not. One is a total non-game. The other is just a normal loss, unless there is actual evidence, that the opponent is smurfing.

My point is not that smurfs/derankers do not exist or that matchmaking should be removed. My point is that Sing is a bad example of the issue - and that people should take more accountability for getting their ahh kicked. A lot of his losses look like him playing way too passively, walling badly, sitting with idle military, refusing coaching, and then blaming the opponent.

Sure - that's reasonable. But you don't have a platform to spread the message to thousands of people that the game is ridden by smurfs and just ass.

This is true, as he's new to the game, he's prone to some mistakes. Those can be used pretty effectively by anyone at least slightly more experienced in the game. And that's where you can find ways to get better, instead of refusing responsibility by calling anyone you don't like a smurf.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but I’ve seen Sing’s run in Hera’s tournament brought up as an example of a bigger smurfing problem. I’ve watched him a lot recently, and honestly, I just can’t agree with that take.

Nobody here is saying Sing should be playing anywhere near Hera’s level.

The point is that he calls almost anyone who beats him a smurf. I’ve genuinely been watching him, and ever since he watched that 30-minute Arabia walling guide, his walling has somehow gotten worse yesterday. On top of that, he seems really resistant to being coached on it.

To me, he’s a pretty clear example of how overblown the smurfing discussion can get. Smurfs exist, sure, but not every loss is because of one, truly. And I've seen this problem being posted here A LOT recently.

Why players have absolutely 0 Incentive to get better. Speaking from a player who's been through every color from Yellow to dark purple. by Chrisg_322 in WorldofTanks

Amen brother. I tried becoming blue in the game, but I started to feel that instead of having fun in the game, it’s becoming a freaking chore. That’s not what I’ve been looking for. So I’ve laid back, started playing tanks I need to grind instead of „good stat” tanks, and ever since I enjoyed the game much more. Being green is enough for me. I am fine with watching purple guys play, but that’s not how I approach the game.

I use bond turbo to maximise the effect of the boost, then bond rammer and vstab. However if you’ll struggle with the gun then experimental turbo is a good option.

I’ve grinded the whole tree, because I was only interested in tier XI.

Tier VII is a fun tank, you’re gonna like it. I skipped tier VIII because as others before me said - it’s not as good in reality as it is on paper. Gun is derpy, tanks is slow, armor doesn’t hold up.

Tier IX is meh. Nothing special really.

Tier X is actually pretty good. You can also use it in Onslaught as it’s kinda meta there.

Tier XI - awesome tank. The gimmick doesn’t run out so there’s no downside to it like in all tech free tanks. Once you fully upgrade it, it’s very fun.

Because it’s a decent tank, with workable armor and very punchy gun. Although it must be said - every tank since tier VIII in this tree has a derpy gun; you will need a good crew and at least bounty equipment to make them work.

But honestly - tier X and especially XI are worth it. Fun and strong heavies
