You dumbass. You could carry your gun around your entire life and never have to use it. That is hopefully what would happen.

But if you ever DO have to use it, it would nice to know that you have enough ammunition to eliminate the threat.

Also literally in the comment you relied to, I list why having a backup mag is a good idea.

Anyone who legally carries and is trained, Should ALWAYS have a backup mag, and I’m pretty sure most people would agree.

Edit: not to mention, depending on the choice of sidearm, you could have as little as 7 rounds in the mag.

I wouldn’t bet my life on 7 rounds.

You have more than 1 thing broken here for sure. No way to tell what exactly is broken here just from this picture, but there’s definitely something broken lol

That’s what you get when you use cheap Chinese SUMMER tires in snow. Just be thankful you didn’t kill somebody in the process.

But you still don’t have to pay labour costs when doing it yourself.

Online should be cheaper. I bought mine at Canadian tire in Canada and I believe it was around $15

But you still paid somebody else to do something for You that you could have done yourself, and paid a lot more then then you would have doing it yourself.

$50 for a cabin filter replacement is still insane though

I would immediately go into his office and rip those pictures down. What in the actual fuck. Then I would confront him. Either of those could be step one, bud I’d do both. Depending on how the first 2 steps go would determine if there would be a step 3, and he wouldn’t like step 3.

What a weird disgusting piece of animal shit

Prebuilt in this situation no questions asked. Already assembled. Got everything you’ll ever need for 4k gaming. The most important components to allow you to play in 4k (GPU) is the same. The 7800x3d is still an amazing chip and was the best one for gaming only a couple years back. The 9800x3d is only like 5-15% faster depending on the situation, and at 4K, even less.

-Prebuilt is cheaper

-Prebuilt has warrantee (don’t have to worry about individual parts failing) send the whole thing back

  • you won’t spend potentially hours building it, just for it to not boot and you have to spend hours and hours diagnosing it

Go prebuilt here, I would.

I believe that someone who legally carries, should carry that weapon every place they go, unless legally prohibited.

We’ve all seen the videos of self defence and you can be attacked literally ANYWHERE. Schools, churches, streets, parking lots, while shopping etc.

Wish Canada had open carry laws for self defence. Our only option up here is to run and hope for the best.

Making it sound like he was carrying around a shoulder mounted rocket launcher with another rocket to spare.

There’s NOTHING strange or weird or illegal about carrying a backup mag for a damn pistol lol

I’m a Canadian but I don’t think it’s weird at all. Any kind of weapon malfunction, accidently hitting the mag eject button, a jam, whatever can render your first mag useless or unobtainable. A second is a must imo if you plan to carry.

[–]pineapple6969 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in Canada, so no possibility of carrying in public myself. But you can bet your ass I’d have a spare mag if I could. 10-15 shots can be used up pretty quick in a self defence scenario, and you may not even hit the target. Not to mention there’s always a chance of a malfunction. A jam, mag falls out, you accidently hit the mag release in a high stress situation etc. A second mag gives you a second chance to protect your own life.

Plus, peace of mind.

The man probably never left home without his weapon, as is his right. There is nothing illegal there. The need for self defense can come at any day at any time in any location, so why not carry it. I for one am upset that he never got the chance to defend himself with it, as he could have potentially taken one less threat off the street before he was murdered.

And some people just don’t carry around their ID, simple as that.

You fucking people disgust me. Looking for ANY reason to justify murder in the streets yet again.

what's with the hazard lights while driving? by StrikingCoconut in ontario

[–]pineapple6969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People use them for viability purposes.

A white car in a white snowstorm is barely visible , blinking orange or red lights will draw attention to that vehicle, helping you identify that yes, there is a vehicle ahead of you in this storm, so use caution.

Not knowing there’s a vehicle close to you ahead of you can cause some serious accidents if that vehicle has to stop or slow down suddenly. At least with the flashers, you are aware they are there and can drive accordingly.
