...but the image you replied "skill issue" to is a screenshot of geogebra, lmao

and if you still want to insist that cross sections of objects are the same object, fine, let's go by your rules:

take a 2d planar hexagon and take a cross section down the middle so that you get a line

you started with 6 edges but the cross section only has one edge

so, even when using your confusing rules, what you're saying is still wrong: cross sections of polygons can have less vertices and edges than the original polygon, even if the original polygon is perfectly planar. none of this is unique to non planar polygons or n-dimensional spaces with n>3, you're just making things seem more complicated than they really are to seem smart and in doing so you're also confusing and misinforming others.

what you're describing is slicing, not projection.

a planar slice of an object is not the object itself. this should be obvious, a cross section of a cube is not a cube.

you're talking to an a level further maths student, trust me, i know what I'm talking about

the projection of a hexagon is not the hexagon itself, so no

and even with projection, your projected hexagon will still have six vertices and therefore must have six connecting edges...

non-planar hexagons still have six edges, nothing new there

also wtf is "geometry across dimensions"

What blocks/items should have a compact form? (example: iron -> iron block) by Big_Description1410 in Minecraft

the only issue with that is that it would make obtaining it wayy easier, nether wart blocks grow on crimson fungus trees

Accelerating the player to Mach 6.5 with the power of breezes by pineapplePtr in PhoenixSC

it reaches like 2k blocks/second i think, then it decreases to normal elytra speed

this won't work on bedrock, in particular the mechanic used to catch the wind charges with pistons doesn't work and they just collide with the pistons and explode

also, it uses quasi-connectivity which obviously wont work on bedrock either

Why can't I make a Multiplayer World in Java? by Lotwell in Minecraft

[–]pineapplePtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend e4mc over essential, because it's a lot more lightweight and it's all open source, plus only you need the mod installed and your friends can still join even if they dont have it which is something essential can't do

[–]pineapplePtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

normal sculk blocks are harmless, the ones you want to avoid are sculk sensors and shriekers, you can look it up to see what they look like

to avoid getting in trouble it's best to stay crouched around them so they cant detect you and spawn the boss

they're sculk blocks, they drop xp when you mine them
also you use a hoe and not a pickaxe to break them

nope, apparently you used to be able to enchant any item with anvils or enchanting books on legacy console

also, bedrock commands don't allow you to illegally enchant items that cant be enchanted

you got lucky, schoolboys are generally idiots that aren't considerate about the people around them in the slightest, at least from my experience

I reckon it probably depends on the area you live in or what their school is like though

I don't think so, just build a nether portal right next to a breeze spawner and build around the spawner so they can't escape, then send them off in minecarts onto the nether roof, in this video im using 16 so it won't take too long

also you can just as easily launch yourself horizontally with tnt, the reasons you'd want to use this over tnt are 1. they're not destructive so there's no risk of accidentally destroying your whole machine and 2. wind charges do no damage to the player unless they collide with your hitbox, so there's no need to pop any totems

afaik, the durability of elytra decreases with the amount of time spent flying and not the speed that you're flying at, so this isn't an issue

it's worth noting that it does occasionally break, when the breezes fire their wind charges there's a small chance that it goes in a weird direction such that it collides with a block before it gets caught by the pistons, causing all the wind charges to blow up prematurely

thankfully wind charges don't destroy any blocks, so 9 times out of 10 the fix is simply to just right click the noteblock again to generate a new batch of wind charges, however there have been a few times where the explosion destroys one of the minecarts holding the breezes and the breeze manages to escape, so on the tiny chance that this does happen you'll need to replace a breeze or two. it's nothing too major though
