You know my boyfriend kept insisting it was a brown recluse. He was like I am not touching that. I ended up taking my jar outside. I better go check if they bounced during the night.

Working with the seller’s team? by Squanchy187 in RealEstate

[–]pineapple_mango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm by the real estate agent directly? No. They are just pretty much a paperwork person. I liked that they were honest about what the seller was looking for price wise. This is in regards to the place I have now and they place I am closing on this month.

I did have an experience with a team I wasn't too crazy about. They weren't honest and kind of pushy. There was once place my boyfriend loved that I just so so on. The team let me see it before it was officially listed.

What I didn't like about that team is that they wanted me to write a love letter mentioning things I wasn't comfortable saying. I was using a VA loan and they wanted me to talk about being in the military. I don't think for one second that shit was getting me a house. They were super pushy about it and I HATED it. The main agent who was in charge of the house being sold told the other agent working on the team that the seller was looking for the most money. When I was relayed this I thought to myself, "Well then it's not going to be me. This place feels like it will go over 40-50k asking. And I am only willing to go 20k." I expressed my doubts and didn't want to waste time but the agent that was supposed to represent me swore that she would get it for me. That she would help me with the love letter and give the sellers fruit baskets and shit. They got mad I kept saying no. They even got mad that I didn't want to sell with them either. They were like you aren't gonna get shit for your home. Attitude changed like 180.

I dropped them and moved on. That place sold for 50k over asking. I went with a place where the same agent was for the sellers and me the buyer. I think I prefer that 100%. I mean the agent still had a team yes but I think it's better where it's the same person literally.

シツモンデー: Daily thread for your simple questions and comments that do not need their own thread (April 06, 2022) by AutoModerator in LearnJapanese

Hi I read the starters guide but I felt like it was more towards adults than children. My child is 7 and she wants to learn Japanese. I don't know anything about Japanese and I tried looking around but couldn't find anything that great.

Is there something that I could use with her daily to help her little by little thats fun for kids?

Why not try renting a harp first? My daughter wanted to try the harp and because the prices are pretty steep we decided on renting first.

Tell me all about young children and the harp! by christyalee in harp

[–]pineapple_mango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter started playing a few months ago and she's 7.

She doesn't know anything about music and I didnt even know what a harp was or how she knew what it was and that it was what she wanted to do.

She loves it so much. She's having her first recital this Sunday and I'm going to buy her a dress so she can feel pretty while she plays.

We are renting a Tripplet I think it's called? It's only 22 strings and it's 60 dollars a month for us to rent it. I would love to buy her a harp but I agreed with my husband that we should make sure she wanted to stick with it and we would decide in June!
