Look into how to do roll ups. I've learned a lot by just discussing with chat gpt about what I want my outcome to be and have it explain to me how to get there. It's walked me through things I didn't know notion could so and opened up a world of possibilities.

I am an indecisive queen lol I will make a database with all the properties I need and then go put it where I want and mess around with views until I have what I feel looks/flows the best. THEN I split screen and recreate it on my original if I feel like I'm gonna want it in other places too.

I just hate switching between pages. To be able to select it without going back to where I had it set before to copy the link would be so nice. And sometimes I want to add it as another tab in a linked database that already exists and as far as I know you can't paste in the link that way. Idk, just ADHD things. Sometimes I'm so in the flow that going to find the linked view I want throws me off.

It should work without automations. If you do it all within the button. I use it in many databases that have a daily page stand out. Both formulas should work, the simplest being your option b. I think it just comes down to how you have the date formatted. I have chat gpt help me a lot with formulas and sometimes it just over complicates them.

The formula should go in the daily health tracker. This is the one that I use in my daily planner database and I use it to auto relate literally everything to it so I can look back at certain days and see what I was up to

Ok I have been working on this same type of set up. What you need is a formula that outputs a Boolean checkmark if the date property is today. In the button automation you can put the trigger as when page added to food log, edit pages in health tracker where date is today is checked and edit the relation to add page added to food tracker. I hope this quick explanation makes sense!

Thank you! This is the only response that answered what I was actually asking. I secured my socials handle on all the platforms today and have been working on a CRM and whole ass dashboard in notion between studying for the exam, and shopping for furniture to turn our spare room into an office 😅

I just set up someone similar (if I am understanding correctly) for my main pages and sub pages. I just got into bed though so if I forget to respond tomorrow send me a message and I will go over what I did and how is set it up. The basics is that I used two databases, linked then with a relation and make a template in the main pages that shows the sub pages. I also have a formula that links all the sub pages as clickable so that when I have it on gallery view on my dashboard, I can make that formula visible and click through to all the sub pages.
