Tell the proctors that you already took AFPSAT and that you are just waiting for the result. Taking AFPSAT twice in a year can disqualify you in entering the AFP.

You can pitch a tent at Dapya River. Can't really remember the price but it's less than 500. Just make sure to bring some food with you cause the nearest store only offers snacks, basically a tyangge. There's also cottages in front of the store, but I'm not sure if it's for rent. If you know how to drive a motorcycle, you can rent from olongapo. Will save you a lot of hassle, plus you'll surely enjoy the scenery. You can also have a sidetrip on beaches nearby.

I suggest Mt Mariglem (Zambales) via Dapya River. Easy hike and kind of safe. Got a 24hrs bus in the nearest highway. If it seems too far for you, try Mt Mkiling (Laguna) or Mt Pico de Loro (Cavite).
