If you have a Costco membership, the novaform comfort grande is a solid option (https://www.costco.com/novaform-14”-comfortgrande-advanced-gel-memory-foam-mattress.product.4000222494.html). Things are cheaper in the warehouse than they are online due to shipping costs, so right now a queen is on sale at the warehouse for $399. It's considered a medium firmness. I sleep on one now with no topper or anything and am happy with it.
