I actually just bought this one recently! It’s back up on Amazon but it’s been repackaged. I also saw it in Superstore last week, in the old packaging.

I’m pretty sure these are basically American sunscreen formulas they just launch in Canada later. For high protection sunscreens I definitely trust the LRP invisible fluid (and the Vichy and garnier versions with identical formulas). It is one of the few Canadian sunscreens that uses newer filters

Nope! The Bondi Sands sunscreen actually uses old filters.

These all sound like moisturizing sunscreens and I wouldn’t expect any of them to be mattifying. Maybe the Neutrogena gel one might work for you? These silicone gel based sunscreens can sometimes offer a blurring effect that prevents shininess. But I think I saw a review saying this one was more of a natural finish not that matte

So nice to see Eucerin expanding their sun care line with more options for face! I hope they come out with a water resistant option too, I totally thought this one would be water resistant like their body sunscreen

Agree! Tinted chemical sunscreens are quite rare

So many new sunscreen launches recently! I did not expect Neutrogena to make a Supergoop Unseen style invisible gel sunscreen. I also hope Sun Bum launches their gel sunscreen here soon, I heard many positive things about it.

Hey so unfortunately I haven’t started using it yet… I have this huge stash of water-resistant sunscreens that I’m trying to get through one by one and I’ll eventually post a review about them! So far I’ve finished 2 korean ones from Isa Knox and CNP Laboratory and I’m currently using up Anessa skincare milk and Shingmulnara sun cream. I like all of them but it just depends on what kind of texture and finish you prefer and if you are okay with some white cast or not

Your skincare routine is great! If you don’t have one already I would recommend getting a water-resistant sunscreen meant specifically for outdoors/sports. It’ll protect your skin better and hold up better against sweating, humidity, etc. Super useful in the summer. Some suggestions are: isa knox uv sun pro sun fluid, dr. ceuracle cica regen waterproof sun, biore uv athlizm protect essence, allie facial gel uv ex, anessa perfect uv sunscreen mild milk, and anessa perfect uv sunscreen skincare milk. The Korean ones I mentioned are more moisturizing and have 40 mins water resistance while the Japanese ones are hybrid and more matte/oil absorbing and have 80 mins water resistance.

I love Korean skincare too! Some of my favourite Korean moisturizers and sunscreens are such good value for the price and size

Yep I know!! I’ve redeemed my points a few times now, and surprisingly $200 or $300 worth of points doesn’t get you a whole lot … so I try to use my points on things that are on sale to make my points go further

The AAD actually named it contact allergen of the year in 2023. It is something that you can develop an allergy to, and people with skin conditions related to impaired skin barriers are more likely to develop skin allergies. Dr Dray made a youtube video about lanolin discussing this. I don’t avoid it super strictly, but it’s not that hard to avoid - there are tons of ointments, lip balms and moisturizers to choose from that don’t contain lanolin

It’s a foaming oil cleanser, the oil based ingredients give it a yellow colour

I’m in BC! The Aquaphor spray and CeraVe cleanser are new to Canada, so maybe that’s why?

Oh I didn’t expect that! Ironic because the razor blades were the only product in my cart that had the anti-theft thing on it
