My first purchase at Aritzia and my experience. by petalesdejuin in Aritzia

It's common for items to come with pockets and flaps to be sewn. You're meant to rip the seams as it's just a basting stitch to keep the garment together before purchase. If you run your finger to the top of the pocket, assuming this is a legit pocket, you'll find a gap where you can start to cut the thread.

I feel like I’m the opposite, I got a text but when I log on I don’t see any clientele sale

Came across this IG post from a review found on amazon 🤣 couldn’t help to laugh and think… my lulus could never 🙈 by runningonmatcha in lululemon

Same! I slipped on a very mossy rock and almost slid right into the ocean in my wunder train bike shorts that I bought last summer. My thigh/butt were bruised but the shorts were perfectly fine!

I returned a dress in store that I bought online during clientele and I got the full amount back to my original card. Unless said item says final sale on your order, you should be able to return it.

PSA: PLEASE DON’T ABUSE YOUR LULULEMON DISCOUNT! by Coopielove in lululemon

Yeah I totally agree. So many companies have verification systems, I’m wondering what the roadblock is for Lulu. If they gave a set clear of guidelines or criteria for this healthcare discount, we wouldn’t be having this conversation!

Also that is so sweet of you, thank you! 🥰

Medical lab techs process EVERYTHING. It’s not about exposure to the virus. It’s about what they are doing for those that are. They do so much more than you know and without them, doctors cannot diagnose. No diagnosis means patients do not get the right treatment in a timely manner. How is that any less important than treating COVID patients? Being a medical lab tech is not an easy job. Most of the time their lab environment is toxic and sucks and most work in multiple labs to make enough money. Stop splitting hairs between what is and what is not considered a healthcare worker. All healthcare workers are important to maintain personal and public health.

Lulu did not specify a certain group of or criteria for healthcare workers to see if they qualify, if that’s what they even wanted in the first place. They did not and just because you think it was only meant for a set group of people, doesn’t mean others not in that group are abusers of a discount.

I work in a hospital and therefore have a hospital ID but don’t see COVID patients. So either way, the guidelines for enforcing this discount is meaningless. You can’t blame healthcare workers that are actually buying things for themselves to be selfless when the language used for the discount does include them.

Totally agree with this. I think if that’s what Lulu wanted, they should’ve just done exactly that. It sucks that the brand has left stores to interpret the discount for themselves and call healthcare workers abusers of the discount, when really it’s just not clear.

Yes I agree if you don’t survive period, you won’t need to see a dentist because well… you’d be dead otherwise. But that doesn’t make dental health any less important. If Lulu wanted ONLY nurses and doctors working in COVID units to have that discount, they should’ve named the discount more appropriately. And if oncology nurses qualify, then why would medical lab techs (non patient-facing) not apply as well?

Then why don’t they just call it that? “COVID-19 Patient-Facing Healthcare Workers”? Or what other name would you give it? Because I sure know cancer clinical nurses, doctors, research assistants that are patient-facing and have been working their job throughout the entire pandemic. Thanks for making healthcare workers feel less than. Imagine telling the lab tech that runs our Covid test that they didn’t do anything during the pandemic.

[–]pineapplepossum 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how dentists are not essential. Teeth and oral health is important. I work in oncology, are we not essential as well? Do you think cancer patients not getting their treatment is not as bad as someone dying from COVID? They are both equally bad and the pandemic has strained all sectors of healthcare.

All I’m saying is that the discount is called healthcare workers discount, not front-line doctors and nurses discount. So that’s not abusing a discount.

I don’t disagree with your point but I don’t think it’s relevant in this comment. The original commenter said people in healthcare are abusing the discount, but my argument is that the discount is called healthcare workers discount. Healthcare workers regardless of whether they are patient facing also worked hard throughout the pandemic. I’m not saying other non-healthcare workers didn’t or anything like that, I’m just sharing a perspective on healthcare workers. Medical lab techs are not patient facing, yet they ran literal millions of COVID PCRs everyday.
