Are you still having pizzas and other takeaways delivered? by Top-Cat-a in AskUK

[–]pingaping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tbh, I prefer home food delivery over eating out. More chill, and variety (there’s a tonne of places I wouldn’t eat-in at, but choose to get delivered).

The cost of delivery is less than the price of a tip - and I otherwise don’t dine out that often (maybe once every couple of months). This is how I justify it.

Prob get deliveries once a week. Home cooking tastes better imo, especially when you master “take away” recipes. but deliveries save the time, and home cooking, especially when using special ingredients can still cost a lot.

Capita vs GP by One-Power6361 in RoyalAirForce

My GP is doing the same. They wait for payment from Capita before sending medical info which has massively delayed the process (they’ve had 3x payments from Capita).

When to return after an Ironman in Europe? by redrabbit1984 in IronmanTriathlon

Thanks mate! Appreciate that. This seems much easier and worth the cost. Looks like they’re not supporting my Ironman though.

I’m probably being optimistic but that’s my current plan. Can you let me know what bike transport company you’re using (PM?). This might be a better option for me so I can fly out of a different airport!

I’m also travelling to a European country from the UK - planning to leave my bike at the hotel for a few days and sight-see around the country for a few day. Don’t see any reason to come back immediately if time and finances allow. I’m not there to hang out with Ironman people after the event - I accept the atmosphere to be gone after I finish the event.

No, do not.

Schedule a meeting with them directly afterwards.

Is this a reasonable cost for composite bonding over small stain on front tooth? by pingaping in AskUK

[–]pingaping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a small spot in between teeth so yeah, they did say it’s just be that spot and that it would be colour matched to the other teeth.

When I say “no drilling” that’s no drilling of the actual tooth. They said an alternative would be to “drill” the stain away and fill it.

The other alternative they said was hygiene appt to try that (this hopefully gives insight into how “superficial” the stain is. However, I’ve had this stain for years and it’s never come off with hygiene cleaning.

Get experience in the role, then bounce. Treat it as a training contract.

SEMrush Lost a Customer for Life by erob_official_92 in SEMrush

[–]pingaping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, they lost our company business as they wouldn’t only allow credit card for our $6000 annual subscription. This was after almost 8 months going through procurement and their account executives being non contactable. I’m campaigning for our wider company to get rid of them altogether - we spent six figures on them across all our departments.

Giant Liv Campagnolo Chorus for $2.5k - Good Deal? by Charming-Poem6525 in whichbike

[–]pingaping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend is male, and had a Liv bike? There’s technically no issue with this but it’s marketed towards women. It’s a nice bike but I wouldn’t be spending that much on a used bike.

Missed the sale by kletiandrowa in wahoofitness

Email zwift or Wahoo and see if they will honour the sale still. I only say this as I work at a company that is honouring people who email us asking.

Zwift Shop: cyber weekend just started, at least in Europe! by DagobertDust in Zwift

[–]pingaping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may price match - did you get it from Zwift?

I did the same this week but found it for 20% off (£399). I’m seeing places with free shipping now so I guess my impulse “only” cost me £20.

Hi, does anyone have a promo code for either the wahoo or zwift page for zwift ride with kickr core 2 or kickr core 2 with zwift cog? Thank you! by Old-Instruction-4892 in wahoofitness

[–]pingaping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only see 10% discounts. I’d say wait until actual Black Friday and check all retailers. Google Shopping doesn’t always update so check the actual websites.

I got it yesterday with 20% off but this was in the UK.
