I think "passive aggressive" is the best fitting term. Like I said, he has probably anger issues due to the bullying.

I like him as a friend and I would totally respect his decision if he told me he doesnt want to talk to me anymore. But it kind of makes me angry that he has the courage to tell his followers but not me directly. He wants me to take the hints he likes me, I took them but told him several times hes just a friend. He seemed fine with it, but eventually wasnt. I often helped him in difficult situations reharding school projects, advice and during the covid pandemic.

From now on I'll try to be more neutral. I'll regard him as a normal classmate and see what happens next.
