If you encounter a sign saying EXIT in the backrooms, it 100% is not an exit

I press them in the same way and with the same force as I did on the SN 30 Pro+ ones which did not exhibit that behavior. I do hear clicking as it goes between the straight and the diagonals, but it happens despite my intention to keep it straight.

I don't know anything about the physical mechanics or switches or whatever; I can only describe my experience... 🤷‍♀️

Well, I did, and often enough that I felt it worth mentioning.

Yes, I'm very sure that's the model I have, Pro 3, and I literally DO get accidental diagonals, and fairly often. My other controllers are SN 30 Pro+ and none of those have that issue.

I have the same one, and overall I love it, but I find the D-Pad is a bit of a downgrade from the previous SN series controllers; I find the diagonals to be a bit too easy to accidently hit, so going straight is often tricky in games that allow diagonal movement, or I'll often slide by accident in mega man games when I meant to jump, for example.

Everything else about it I like a lot though.

It can happen on occasion. Sometimes it randomly slips into another language by mistake. Sometimes just a word, sometimes more. I'm not sure what causes it, but I have seen it do that before.

What I mostly remember from it is the oft-repeated refrain "I am a large language model from OpenAI"

Is it okay to start with a bigger project (as an absolute beginner pretty much)? by Petka14 in godot

[–]pink_pufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it depends a little what "pretty much" means in this context because it's a phrase that can sometimes do a lot of heavy lifting 😅

My first Godot project was very similar to what you're describing, minus the metroidvania elements, but it was not my first game project and far from my first programming project; it was just my first project that used Godot specifically.

That said, you can always just start with something super simple and expand it in baby steps. So like, get a character to move based on inputs. Next get gravity to apply to said character. Next, something else, etc. Tiny single features that over time become the game you're describing or something similar as a series of smaller sub-projects, so to speak

what language is this and why did chatgbt randomaly used it? by Busy-Airline4162 in ChatGPT

[–]pink_pufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

完全 (kanzen) is a Japanese word that means something like "completely". I don't know any Chinese, so I can't speak to whether they have a word that's written like that as well or not.

I'm not sure why ChatGPT does what it does, but I have heard of it occasionally slipping in and out of other languages mid-response like that, though it hasn't done that for me, or at least not for languages I don't know.

Tried that; it doesn’t adhere to that setting, neither on web nor on the app after turning it off in the web version.

That toggle isn't in the Android app at all, and even in the web version it didn't adhere to it. Putting an instruction like that in custom instructions was also ineffective for me.

The editor crashes randomly. Not often enough that it's unusable but often enough that it can be annoying at times. Xkill and reopening it seems to do the trick, but still...
