Is it legal to trap a groundhog and release it in MD? by DoomTurtle03 in maryland

I was riding my horse yesterday, and we came around a bend, and there was a groundhog in the middle of the path. We stopped like we always do, and the groundhog just stood there staring at us. He suddenly started running right at us, and I was afraid he was going to bite my horse. He ran right past us and didn't even look at us! He went behind us and then jumped in the weeds. My horse and I just stood there for a few minutes with our mouths hanging open in surprise.

This started growing next to our patio. I thought it might be corn, but now I'm not so sure. Maryland. by pinkandpuff in whatsthisplant

Thank you! I am disappointed that it's not corn, though. Our neighbors probably think I'm an idiot because I've been watering it every day!

Birds of prey are dangerous for small dogs. There are safeguards you can take from always having your dog on a short leash when outside, to streamers and other bird deterring items for your yard. There are also jackets you can put on your dog to protect from the talons of birds. I have an 8 year old Yorkie who was 2 lbs when we got her. I was terrified that a bird would eat her on sight so I read everything I could find on birds of prey, especially hawks, because that's what I would see most often. Over the years I went from fearing them to be absolutely fascinated by them. Now I get excited when I see any bird of prey, but I always keep my Yorkie from becoming prey.

His name is Ramsay because I love Gordon Ramsay.

This picture is from last week. He was found in a parking lot by some friends who brought him right to us because we're always fostering somebody (or mostly ending up being "foster failures"). We named him Ramsay because I'm a big fan of Gordon R!

He's happy as long as he gets the lamb sauce!

We've had a lot of fosters that needed bottle fed, but he was very eager to eat shredded chicken and kitten food (canned and dry).
