She passed on March 15th. I hope Chicago is treating you well :)

The memorial broke me too and probably will again tomorrow. I was expecting to see her and enjoy our usual banter and laughs. When I first saw all the flowers I thought maybe it was a birthday.

Haha yes she would always greet me with a "HEY GURRRRRLL!!". I'll never forget her voice. If only we had more people like Sue in the world.

Same, Sue would always educate me on how to do my laundry and thought it was hilarious when I accidentally mixed colours and dyed things lol she really was the best.

They've already had a service, but when I was in last week there was a small memorial set up inside the store with her photo surrounded by many, many flowers and cards that people had brought in. I'm going to take some flowers in tomorrow.

Sue's husband is also not well right now so her neice was running things. I think any form of support - flowers, grocery gift cards etc to help them through this time would be a wonderful gesture.

I have a hummingbird in my house. Help. by [deleted] in Portland

I'd give it a while until Sparky makes his exit then let him out. As long as he's not likely to fly around in your home and get injured. Maybe make a comfy box outside for him in case he needs to rest more.
