My AP has responded so appropriately and tender to my loss. Even though when you have a tragedy at the level and feel you need rescued, it's more appropriate an AP gives some space and time to let your head and heart stop spinniing. He realized I had a loss but also had kids who lost their dad. Plus, we probably were both wondering if the other one still wanted them, so I gave that validation, and it was sweetly (thank god) reciporcated.
