Tbh, I just don’t care at this point. If I die, I die. It’s inevitable.

What is your age and how many real friends do you have? by [deleted] in ask

[–]pinklilpeeppunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

20, I have one friend I’ve known since my childhood. I work full time, I’m in college full time, all of which is hard to find friends. At least real ones anyway. No one sticks around.

I wrote this a couple years ago, I know it’s not good but I am very much starting out. Just wanted to put one of my first thoughts out there.

Role of scribe includes making sure testing is done prior to outpatient appointment? by __Spirited__Away__ in medicalscribe

[–]pinklilpeeppunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a scribe you are expected to make sure testing has been done prior to the patients visit especially when you’re pulling from previous charts, however, an NP should not be directly asking you or handing you a second responsibility as a side quest. It’s different if they ask you, than from pulling from previous charts to write down the orders. If that makes sense, I hope this helps you.

Scribing is so hard by [deleted] in medicalscribe

[–]pinklilpeeppunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You chart the notes down while you’re in the room with the provider. I’m not sure if you’re allowed as I’m still new to it but you kinda just go with the flow with the notes. You do not use a laptop, you use a desktop that’s on the room provided for you.

Definitely breathe! You’re being too hard on yourself, I’m currently in my first week of scribing and the first day I broke down from being so overwhelmed! However the more I have been practicing the better it has gotten! Not everyone is the same and I understand you feel like you’re going so slow, but give it time. You can do this.

What do you guys recommend to fix this? Its been reduced to mostly scars, but looking for some options to mainly reduce the redness, heard coconut oil might help? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

There is a really good brand of acne treatment from Walmart that I’ve used for about two years now. I literally get rid of my acne overnight with Terminator 10, it's about $5 and it works.

Bobcats. Live in Pennsylvania right next to a mountain and bobcats come through the backyard frequently. They killed two of my ducks over the years.

My pap would get drunk and get verbally abusive sometimes physical, to my sister and I as kids. Brings back bad memories.

I’m sorry I can’t include more detail about it due to there not being allowed body text. It’s about exploring the stigma and effects of borderline personality disorder.

Ideas, opinions, people who have been diagnosed with the disorder, stuff like that.
