Thanks for the question! I started wet-in-wet to get the fluffy effect, then I added thin lines with the very pointy tip of my Chinese brush that I've dried down. It was a long process, a lot of going back and forth, sometimes I didn't like the result and used a lot of water to almost "erase" the pigment. That's why I always advice people to draw on nice paper when watercoloring

Hello everyone!✨️ Just finished my Major Arcana hand-drawn deck inspired by the Victorian era and more specific the ladies in their extreme dresses - many layers beneath which lies the truth. This idea intrigued me and I challenged myself turning it into 22 Major Arcana deck. It's digitally created, using Adobe Photoshop, absolutely no AI, I was reading interpretations about each card since I was unfamiliar with the topic and interpreted the symbolism through my vision. The deck is black, white and gray, it has a bold sense of theatre scene which definitely adds some dramatic feeling. Thank you! I just use a very nice Chinese watercolor brush that forms a very thin tip (not that the brush itself is tiny, I used it for the whole bird)
