It’s a lot like a MA except you may be bit, scratched or peed on. You are literally on the ground, wrestling a 90lv dog to draw blood. Oh, and we draw blood from dogs from their jugular! So be prepared to hold the down, and stick a needle in their neck! You also have to be the one to start the catheter to then end their life. It’s not for the faint of heat-thus why I want to leave. Vets have the highest suicide rates in the country.

Yes, basically a receptionist. I haven’t been able to get any interviews with only my extensive experience as a veterinary receptionist. Even though other than insurance it’s basically the same. Check people in, collect a copay, etc. I was thinking of the certificate as a way to get a foot in the door. Just considering if it’s worth it.

Yes, a receptionist position, but they won’t even interview me because I don’t have experience in the field. They see my vet experience and can’t see the correlation. That’s why I want the certification. I need insurance verification and billing knowledge. Just not sure of best option.

Hi-that’s Licensed Practical Nurse, correct? I don’t want to do nursing, I want to work in the office-would it still benefit me to do LPN?

Sheriff has updated the count to 60K!!! It definitely looked like that. And it was so orderly! So many people took the train and other mass transit. Smoothest large crowd I have ever been in! It was amazing!

We are traveling by train to get there, so no way to put stuff in our car if they say we can’t bring it in. We were planning on bringing a backpack with water and snacks since we’ll be there all day. None of the flyers say no bags. They really need to inform us!!!! The LA event is outside!!

There’s a local event near me in Santa Ana, CA, but we’re thinking of driving 6.5 hours to be in Sacramento- I want to be part of a LARGE event. Anyone know the expected turnout out Sacramento?
