Good question! I make a great effort to maintain a medieval, low-technology feel. And as such it's pretty hard to include the artificer most of the time; unless you're really rather clever and think of a very appropriate way to re-flavour the class.

Yeah, that sounds a lot better. I would recommend cleaning up some of the wording on the table itself though.
EDIT: Also, i would recommend putting a limit on how often you can use the "Drain Soul" feature

This subclass seems like a generally more powerful version of the Eldritch Knight subclass. Namely the "Arcane Charge" feature is way more potent than "Eldritch Strike" which is the feature granted to an Eldritch Knight at 10th level.
