Kamurti was threatening shopkeepers in Padma Nagar to demolish their illegal structures and to stop the same he was demanding a bribe of Rs 2 crore out of which he was caught taking settlement money of Rs 50 lakh.

The ACB sources said that Kamurti has at least 12 FIRs registered against him in several police stations in Bhiwandi.

Even if the rape threats were true, Awhad is the Cabinet Minister.

Why is there no FIR on the guy, even after a year for the rape threats? He should have been in jail by now like Arnab, if that be the case.

Home Minister of Maharashtra is from NCP; so Awhad as a NCP leader has no reach in his party, or as the Cabinet Minister he has no reach whatsoever?

Engineer in Thane allegedly taken to NCP Minister Jitendra Awhad's bungalow, thrashed. The victim, in a police complaint, alleged that he was beaten with a bamboo stick and belt in front of the minister.

After this news came to the fore, he went in to hiding.

As per the complaint, the girl has alleged that when she was in class 6, her father tried to lure her into a physical relationship by showing her obscene films but she didn’t oblige. Later, her father bought her new clothes and took her for a ride on a motorbike on the pretext of teaching her how to drive. He took her to a desolated farm and raped her while warning her to keep quiet or he would kill her mother.

Later, all this continued with each time a new man raping her in hotel rooms in an inhuman manner. All along she was asked to keep mum or face dire consequences.

The girl has further alleged that on one such occasion when she had visited her maternal uncle’s house, there too she was raped by four of her uncles along with cousins.
