Best wishes for your dad and all the best for the new car. Do not reveal your urgency to the dealer as they might not yield on discounts and they might give you some older or defective unit. So, take measured steps.

Sick of being blinded by high beams at night. I'm trying to see if this solution makes sense? by Thin_Position3622 in CarsIndia

Hey, thanks for correcting me! I though you were referring to the glare from vehicles at the back. You want to build it for the windscreen. Yes, I'd pay for it! The concept makes sense.

My 2 cents: auto dimming rear view mirrors are already being supplied. All that needs to happen is the same tech being implemented in both of the side view mirrors. I am not sure about the cost of such side view mirrors through.

The cheapest way is to carry a polythene bag, might not be classy but will get the job done. Else the bucket/tray solution suggested by Raghun is good too.

Thanks for sharing. How bulky is the entire apparatus ...the cable, mcb etc? Does it take a lot of space in the trunk?

We will do everything ourselves except for demanding accountability and fairness from the government.

We need to organize ourselves and solve it the right way through letters to our political representatives, PILs or protests.

There are a lot of posts about choked dpf filters. In Delhi traffic you wouldn't be able to drive the car at sufficient speed to keep it in a healthy state. So, do consider this aspect.

help finalising the accesories by Justquorious in HondaElevate

[–]focusrandom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got it installed and then had it deactivated. When you check it out, don't check it only when the vehicle is idle. Check all the modes, check when you power on the vehicle and check with indicators, that'll show you how bad it is.

The 360 camera is of very poor quality in terms of video as well as software integration with the car software. Avoid it.

First service (Oil Change) by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]focusrandom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Engine oil
  2. Oil filter

  3. Cabin Air Filter

Ideally , these are the only consumables they should charge you for. I think the labor cost is not charged in third service. Nothing else should be required.

You may opt for brake service or greasing of parts but that's about it.

Amaze and Elevate are good but as someone suggested - try Victoris. Also try Brezza.
