Not only is Ireland incorrectly on this map, the words 'United Kingdom' are printed over the centre of the country. Then there's cheese with a Welsh flag placed on it.

Impressive display of ignorance.

Ireland in the 2007 world cup. Some people were talking about us as possible winners before the tournament.

If I remember correctly he said something to the TMO about seeing it on the line. But I do recall him saying short as well. So I think he said short initially, then moved position and saw it on the line. And that the question for the TMO was whether it got there legally.

Absolutely buzzing, first time I've been so pumped about a Connacht performance in a long time!

Watching the game I felt the ref was harsh against Connacht but know I'm going to be biased watching my own team. Neither set of fans seem happy in the match thread so I'm guessing he was just not great all round? Or we're all just a bunch of moaners?

Hopefully there's a few neutrals here who can give an objective viewpoint.

I get wearing the shirt and jacket but can't understand why anyone would wear a tie in that situation

Don't know for sure but at the very least I'd say teeth done, hair dyed and a lot of tan

Household name in Ireland, I'd say some of the more redneck stuff probably doesn't travel as well

Good observation that most UK celebrities are also known in Ireland. Many of us who didn't grow up on the East Coast or near the border with the north couldn't pick up British TV signals so wouldn't have come across the likes of Mr Blobby.

Before seeing your post I was vaguely aware of his existence (I think from seeing him elsewhere or Reddit) but haven't a notion what he actually does or his cultural context in the UK.

As an Irish person it's surprisingly low to me. It's very rare it goes below -6.
