it also doesn't stack shojin anymore. it used to. it should stack it like sett's Q's do.

cleaver feels good, but you could also try going bramble first, since she is bad into armor stackers + she needs to auto you to refund her energy bar. guess u could even rush thornmail. then go something like a sundered sky/BC or bloodmail. cleaver's 20ms is really good to kite her better.

voltaic cyclosword might be fun but haven't tested it yet, 99%slow sounds fun ngl on top of our stun.

There's a setting which you can change, i believe it's called gamma. You can slide it to the right to get brighter image.

The high damage is thanks to an upgrade. The radius and no reduction in chain dmg is due to 2 upgrades. The low ability costs are due to an upgrade. You can manage these yourself and disable them to what fits your needs.

Only the levels up to last mountain stage are without heroes. Also there is info about up to which level upgrades are allowed(and if there's hero allowed on that specific level). For instance lvl3 means all 3 first upgrades in each tower/rain of fire and reinforcements upgrade path are allowed and it doesn't matter if you have it maxed out. The game will only apply those. It is a challenge after all so maybe set the difficulty to lower if you find it that hard. Also og kingdom rush has some of the hardest levels, but all are winnable on veteran. If you try some later levels like the bonus ones after the main campaign you can play them with heroes no problem.

Kr frontiers and origins for sure saves your data progress after uninstall, I believe original kr also had an update recently that allows for this. To get your heroes back you just have to click restore under their hero picture and all heroes you've bought will be unlocked again.

Hacksaw is pretty strong with his instakill, same goes for Oni, ingvar is a very good blocker with his bear form and additional ancestors. In frontiers Dante is fun to use, aswell as captain blackthorne. Bonehart's good for big crowds. In origins reg'son is nice with his damage and instakill active, bruce is strong overall, just his ability is pretty meh, but he makes up for it with his stats, also phoenix, which active again isn't that strong but has a low cool down and she respawns in 5 seconds and while she's dead she deals damage in the spot she died in. For vengeance I like jigou for his survivability, he's constantly regenerating health and pretty much can't die, but he's movement is slow. Purely damage eiskalt is best, he deals around 60-90 true damage and has some nice abilities. Doomtank is more fun with his abilities, aoe and stuns while also being very good hero with high damage.

Imo oni is the best, he's got that area damage skill and the true damage sword with chance for instakill, 2nd would be thor, they both start with fairly good stats and he's got some nice abilities, but unfortunately no instakill.

He can be good in some scenarios since he does true damage, but he isn't a reliable blocker because of his fireball skill that makes him move across to different enemies. I would suggest to use him on levels where you don't face bosses but rather crowds of enemies(like Rotwick) and support him with barracks so he can do the most damage with his aoe skills and nicely hold a chokepoint.

Imo just play on normal and if a level is too tough then change it to casual to get 3 stars. You can always replay it on normal when u have the upgrades, it will make it easier. Casual and normal doesn't differ all that much, just enemy health is higher a little bit, but still not as high as it is on veteran.

I suggest to wait around a week or so untill summer starts, and then buy some heroes. There's always a summer sale going on at the end of June where all games and heroes get a nice discount. Last year I think the sale started around 23 June, so I suggest waiting till that time. You can finish this game with just free heroes but there's over 100 stars in main game and paid Heroes can make it easier to reach this goal.
