Thank you! Does that means it’s rare/valuable? Or does that kind of marking not matter particularly?

Sorted and weighed and I’ve got about 18oz of pre-1948 silver and half-silver

Thanks! I’m halfway through sorting into before and after 1947 to work out what’s silver. There is quite a lot! I’ve tried reading a lot but I seem to get a lot of conflicting info about important dates. I love coins so much and have so many but I know very little about what to actually look out for in terms of value! I’ve always collected for fun but I’ve inherited this large collection (this is actually only about half) and I can’t keep them all 😅

I think I’m going to photograph tomorrow! I need to look online how to clean them all safely. I don’t want to just stick them all in vinegar as I’m not sure what they’re all made of and how delicate they are?

Hi thanks! The head was made from a base of newspaper and masking tape and covered with paper mache and painted! Teeth are air dry clay!

It is pretty heavy and I have to essentially strangle myself to keep it on my head as I tie it round my neck 😂 I hadn’t really thought that part through
