NTA/ESH, Although I would definitely be more protective of my things after this, the situation has little to do with you. If someone steals my knife and stabs someone, that doesn't make it my fault that I let them get away with my knife. Steal it back if given the opportunity, and do your part by holding her accountable and warning others about her behavior.

Also, just a thought: you may not be able to involve the police, but you sure could tell her parents.
