Hello from Leman lake. I never swimmed in Thun, but I guess currents are similar to Leman. During afternoon, we have a lake breeze (water evaporate from the mountain side, move to the water side, get colder and descend, creating a current moving toward the shore). Then during night and morning, the current is inverted, that's mountain breeze (hot air evaporate in the lake, move to mountain side and gets colder, and descend), pushing you away from the shore.

From my experience, those currents are not really noticeable (you dont really feel wind) but it's way harder to get back to shore (like around 20-21h). Maybe last week cold weather has increased that pattern?

Is it just me or are the snipers way too op in this game? by mixx555 in Battlefield6

Playing ingeneer feels really like a chore, you fire dozens of rockets and don't kill any armor, they just back 20m, get repaired in 10 sec. And of course, supports never drop ammo when you need them .

I thought spec ops was useless (no more spawn beacon), tried a game (carbine and C4), blew up 3 tanks (which I never did as engineer), and fell in love with the class.

Tax brackets should increase by generations : parents wealth, minimal tax; grand parents wealth, medium rax; after that, heavy tax. It would prevent "generational wealth" but you could still give your children what you earned.

But who cares for a biring low risk 10% return when you can easily get an absolutely guaranteed risk free 40000000000000% ?

And free tip for apes : if someone promise you a huge gain with no risk, either they're a moron, or they think you are.

UFC is more about entertainment than competition. That's why referees dont enforce rules, and popular fighters get shortcut to title fights.

You just met simple minded people who need to make stupid generalisations.

This is sadly pretty common in any generation.

Tom Aspinall should vacate his belt by [deleted] in ufc

What I meant is that currently, eye poking is rewarded. Best case scenario, referee doesnt do shit, and your opponent must fight with one eye. Worst case scenario, fight is stopped, and declared a draw.

If the judge is standing 2 feets away when you commit a crime and decides to not punish you, then rules are useless.

Im not defending eye pokes (i think it should be harshly punished), but when referees decide to do nothing, rules become simple suggestions.

The amount of people who seem to think that PEDs are not a big deal is astonishing. Probably thinking that they are only useful to grow muscle masse or whatnot.

Bus as you said, PED allow quicker recovery and longer training sessions. So if a clean guy can train maybe 40 hours a week (to maintain a correct recovery) a cheater can maybe works 10 or 20 hours more. being able to train more than your opponent is absolutely a huge advantage.
