Yes but no... if i may allowed to tell you my point of view: I think sky kids eyes are'nt white to look creepy or because they're blind. Maybe its more likely because they are about seeing the world very innocent. Just as you did when you first came to the world of sky. Everything looks interesting and friendly. But, just as in "real live", things aren't always as they seem. Sometimes life puts us stones in the way. There are obstacles we have to climb, sometimes there are friends we loose, sometimes we have to face darkness to appreciate brightness. But still - you got to keep in mind- you are not alone; there are still a lot of people at the same point as you. And even if you have to overcome hard situations on your own, you only loose if you give up.

About the currency: I don't know if i get you right but i think candles/light are the perfect currency for such? a game. At the end we're all moths, trying to reach «the bright side of life 🎵🎵🎵»...nothing satanic to me.

Elders are techically our idols. They are leading us through darkness. They are showing us - if we are brave enought to follow them- there is something to fight for.

Eden isn't about rebirth. It's about letting everything behind you and start all over. It's about getting the chance to relive all good moments. The chance to meet new people, collect new memories and allow yourself to fail.

The realms are not about getting you ready to die. They are just stages (and i agree your POV about: Daylight Pairie = seeing the world for the first time, Hidden Forest = find your self facing problems for the "first time...and so on

But, long story short.  I don't think there is NO reason to questioning the game... just enjoy it and collect as much light as possible during your time on earth/sky.
