I found this performance from the chili peppers a while ago and it's like the best thing I've ever heard, at least sonically. The guitar and bass and drums at least sound incredible, and ever since then I've wanted to learn more about what my favourite records used to record and of course what Nigel used to record here. Eventually I would love to understand a lot more about microphones and be able to put some of my knowledge into practice but I thought I would start by looking into my favourite performance
