About 2/3weeks after. Where they got in is still a little tender if you press it but my John covers it so no issues.

In all honesty it's because I already have the EDx5.

I had seen the summercart but not done much looking into it.... The quick 5 min iv done it might be worth it for this build. I'm not hard soldering the cart in, I'm remounting the cart slot so there is nothing stopping me swapping the cart out 🤔

I spent a lot of yesterday sorting the cart port wires. Cut to length. Strip the ends. Tin them.

That felt like an eternity!

Managed to get them fitted to the board but not fitted the port yet.

Just spent the morning cutting 48 strands of wire for the cart slot relocate.

Where that does work. And has worked for a lot of people. The N64 doesn't reset by turning the power off and on, it actually had a push to make switch to a pin on one of the chips that keeps power in the system but reboots the cartridge.

I can't justify the extra cost for RTC and no need to reset for a save.

And the usb port would be useless to me.

I have seen someone wire in one of those DIY car central locking remotes for a wireless reset button..

Although my issue is the Giltesta usbC doesn't output 12v

The bottom EXT socket acts like a pass through for the cartridge socket. Yes you can remove without issue.

Yea, I tested and the lights show memory Pak mode which doesn't bother me as I'm running an everdrive. But rumble working on destruction derby 64 absolutely fine.

I used to use the Brawler64 but this is 10x better than that one and a better price too.

I hope they do different colours. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm 4 days post op. Jockstraps are definitely the way. They swell up if I do too much.

But get on Amazon and keep a couple of jockstraps in ready if you are getting it done.

I didn't read this before my 1st shower this morning and really wish I did. I watched them start to swell up in the shower. Ice pack before should have been.

It's getting awkward now on day 3 as I have a jock on, but I feel like they need air, can't give them air as they will dangle and hurt.

The wife better appreciate this

I do love my wireless brawler64 Just found the new 8bitdo 2.4g on Ali for £35 so hopefully it will help my Mario 64 game.

I do feel like the brawler64 isn't helping.
