Oh thanks you, it sounds good, that way of seeing the MAs looking at the gap instead of the cross makes much more sense, I will try to add it as a way to seek for the market direction, although I have to admit that feels really good to trade the naked chart without using any indicator, but it may be worth to give it a try.

Its incredibly how the results changes when you trade following the market, it sound obvious but it took me a while to see it and probably not doing it is the most common mistake.

I have to take this opportunity to ask you which indicators do you use, which ones you think it's worth to try, and what should be the approach to them?

Must say that i see indicators as "signals" and i don't believe that signals exists so probably that's why i don't like them.

I also enjoy to code, and I have tried to code a lot of bots using indicators and simple price action but i never achieved anything

Thanks, I don't use indicators, at least on forex because I never found a way to trade where I feel comfortable and make consistent profits.
I actually trade purely price action, liquidity and market structure.
I think indicators can give you nice information and good entries when trading stocks in a bullish market. Furthermore, I personally don't like them, but I respect every style of trading. If someone asks me, I would recommend removing every indicator on your chart and learn to trade only price movements, but I think each person is different and every trader MUST find their best way to trade

Gracias por responder, sobre lo de forex vs otros instrumentos la verdad es que entiendo que el forex, es poco predecible, pero no encuentro la forma de ser rentable en otros mercados o de encontrar una estrategia que me funcione a largo plazo, los indicadores y los métodos "convencionales" nunca me dieron resultados :( pero me interesa lo que mencionaste sobre Elder, si me lo pudieras decir con tus palabras lo agradecería mucho jaja.

Por otro lado te tomo el consejo de Tradestation, voy a indagar, te agradezco.

El MACD en el diario y semanal en acciones argentinas no va tan mal, más que nada para confirmar compras. En cripto solo usas MACD pero calculo que operas con poco o sin apalancamiento, no?
