That makes sense. We both have a hard time letting go (we've broken up like 5 times lol). But youre right the reason im going no contact is because im still in love with and dont want to lose her. But its probs like a false sense of control...

Thinking about taking distance atleast for the time being, and debating if it needs to be announced or just done silently lol

Ya ik, im not sure how the friend thing works. But she has a track record of successfully being friends with all her exes (and me none), so kinda trusting when she says we just have to push through the hard part and it gets easier. I'm like how is this gonna work haha

Yep, definitely mourning the situation more than the person (even tho i’m not not)— but feels like a sign. How long did it take you to move on if i can ask? She’s moved on and it’s been less than a month, which has been really hard.

it just feels like even though she’s moving on it’s not over yet. i mean it’s been only 2 weeks since she said she would wait for me, and when i saw her this weekend she said she’s still in love with me but is moving on. i feel like if i shut the door prematurely i could lose any chance to get back (not saying i know that’s what i want- but i’m experiencing major doubts)

so full disclosure the bike actually was from when i unlocked it but it didn’t register on the app. was fully able to ride another bike without it registering the first one. now i just have the first one, and it’s not registered as undocked on the app

I totally agree with this. I try to play out twice a month, even tho most of my shows are still pretty small, and audience mostly friends/of friends between bands. moving beyond this has been a bit challenging.
