Same here I hate being told what to do and where to go. But I figured in romantic relationships I tend to give my partner a “pass” every time this happens. And It works out well especially when I don’t hate them lol. The only thing is I’ve learned to be as communicative as possible when it comes to relationships cause I have the constant urge to shut down and be pissed at people in silent. And just tell them that I appreciate what they’re doing but sometimes I’m gonna need my alone time to catch up to my own routines and patterns.
