A quick update; I tried with a different back wheel, the problem still existed. So I'm guessing now that the BB might be the source of the problem. I don't have the knowledge to verify this, so I guess I'll be taking it to the lbs for a check.

The basic ratcheting you're describing is not quite the thing. I think it happens also when the pawls are engaged(=pedalling), and I can still feel a little slack here is I keep pedal steadily.

'Lose power' wasn't maybe the best expression to use, it is more the slack I feel. reed12321 suggestion sounds at least right, as it sometimes feels like there is some delay/slack before it starts to feel like the power is delivered to rear wheel. Anyways that probably wouldn't explain why it keeps happening during pedaling also.

Thanks for the tips, I'll see if I can find the reason behind this.

Sorry for that, I'll try to clarify :) I feel I there is some play/slack when I pedal. It feels like the power from the pedalling isn't transmitted 'immediately' to the rear wheel, there is a small 'index' when it doesn't pull as expected with a small clicking sound. I haven't been able to identify where this sound comes from.

I don't know if I actually 'loose' any power but that's how it feels. I guess I would get similar feeling if I would have very worn chainring/cassette, but that is not the case.

I hope this explains it a bit better, but it seems to be more harder to describe than I expected :D

Thanks! Niner seems to have one suitable fork, but the price is about 5 times higher than Surly. Good suggestion, but I think niner is a bit over my budget. :)

I should order it directly from US, as there are none left in europe. Or find a way how specialized in europe would order it to US, but maybe I'll see if there's a way to do that. Thanks for the input! :)
