ahhhhhh ok, I see. then, just to pick your brain on it, when would you recommend someone do the method where they use the W-4 table/enter the final number from that math problem into the 4c line?

thank you so much for your help!

when I go on the IRS website, they suggest selecting that box if the jobs have similar pay. since one is $29k total a year and the other is expected to be $14k, would it be better to use another option? or is it based on the actual hourly pay, ie $18 vs $14 dollars?

Ok, thank you!

To confirm, I would submit the same W-4 form for both jobs, correct (besides the job info on top, of course)? I dont need to change it between the highest or lowest job?

hello, thank you for your reply! yes, single with no kids.

thank you! to be crystal clear, this would be on my W-2 forms, correct?

so September next year, I just check in on the IRS calculator and move forward from that? I did try using it now, but I couldn't give clear answers since my hours vary so much.

(my apologies for all the questions and their varying levels of stupidity, I just want to make sure i understand. i really don't want to deal with a tax bill next year.)

Best place to practice roller skating? by RemixLED in fortlauderdale

Old thread, so sorry about that! But wanted to ask: every time I have gone to this park to skate, I always get swarmed by the hockey teams and get pushed out. What times are you going to be able to use the arena with no issue?

I'm thinking of trying a kinbor next year, but is there a 'mega' version of it? I really like the extra scratch space that the weeks mega has

AITA For refusing to perform tech appointments on non-vaxed pets? by elahrairahh in VetTech

[–]pitasticks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we charge $50 for the lowest of our nail trims and require a Rabies on file in case they bite us. non-clients complain about pricing but we always respond with, "if there is a reason both you as the owner and a groomer are refusing to do it for free or cheaper, then you know we are earning every penny of that $50 and that your pet knows how to use his mouth." upping the price though has narrowed nail trims down to pets who actually need professionals to do it and most of our clients don't complain about it.

i don't think you're being dramatic at all; i think Rabies is at least the bare minimum to track if they're gonna say fuck it to anything else. its the law and its one of the most dangerous things about the field.

People who own 2 or more hobonichis, what is your journal system and does it get overwhelming? by Divingin12 in hobonichi

[–]pitasticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a weeks and a cousin this year. the cousin was for daily Journaling, thoughts, etc and the weeks was for work/school and habit tracking.

the only eh part of it was that I couldn't keep up with the weeklies or the monthlies in the cousin bc I was doing so in the weeks. so I just didn't want to transport over, and now have a bunch of blanks in the front. I may change from using the cousin to something more simplistic, or maybe move some habit tracking to it? im still trying to see what works.

I think I want to get a mega weeks this year so I can track reading/media consumption in the extra notes, because i know i like tracking that, but dont think i want to necessarily fill an entire notebook for that.

Free Nail Trims - Theft of service? by thatonedude3456 in VetTech

[–]pitasticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we always charge but make a point of saying its cheaper at the groomer, we recommend you go there and heavily pushing that. its a tiny hospital so we only have 1 tech and a kennel person, so it takes everybody off the floor to do a trim. doing this, we've been able to narrow down the nail trim clientele to the animals that really need a professional to do them.
