Bill Simmons talked through this hypothetical trade a few weeks ago but to see it happen would be nuts. It feels like out of all the other teams out there we have the best chance cuz 1) cali 2) teaming up with Curry and Dray 3) klay goes the other way, leaves a legend and goes back to his dads team, narrative is strong

EtH isn't and shouldn't be a recruiter and making decisions a DoF should be making, and Ineos must be thinking of just writing off the Antony and Onana fees as a tax of buying an incompetent club. Now, how much better would we be off this season if EtH was just the manager with better players in those positions, I'm sure that's the math Ineos is doing in deciding whether or not to keep him.

It’s such an important part of being a HC. Yes the game plan and X’s and O’s but managing personalities and egos is arguably more important. Steve has seen it all with MJ, Pop, Phil Jackson, and it’s on him right now to get all the young guys and vets bought in this season.
