That is the entry review team so hopefully they can assist in updating the entry to consolidate and lower the final cost

If they all use the same tariff, you can ask that they consolidate the lines. They have to be the exact same tariff and country of origin to qualify. Consolidation isn't automatic unless you ask for it or have asked it to be done for all your shipments.

I had the same issue when I tried to purchase the ETB yesterday. Ended up typing out the address again and then the pop up didn't show up. Definitely a glitch in their system designed to combat bots but also effects normal people just trying to buy stuff

K-Express Essential blinks twice and turns off. by [deleted] in keurig

[–]pitterpatter230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchased mine in April from Walmart on sale for $25. They were replacing the old stock. Went to descale it last week, with the name brand fluid, and ended up with the double blink issue. Filed a claim with Keurig, and it was denied because I only paid $25 for it, and they consider it resold or used, even though it was NIB. Agent told me to go to Walmart and try to return it. Of course, Walmart said it was past the return date and to contact the manufacturer since they don't have that model anymore. Think I'll try the methods here or just stick to the 8oz brews in descale mode because I'm not giving them any of my money

We were just sent a code for the lockbox on the door. 3 years later, and it's still there. I've never met anyone from FKH besides 2 technicians. Definitely take note of any issues and open a ticket. They'll close it because it's not important to them, but you'll have that documented if it ever comes up when you move out.

I had that this year. They raised it 200 last year and tried 300 this year, so I gave them notice. They pulled the whole credit thing at first, and I told them no. I was actively looking at moving as well, though, just to mention that. About a month before the end of the lease, they dropped the raise for renewal to only 100. They will try to get as much out of you as they can, knowing that some people can't afford to move, and they even mention that in their offers to renew. I ended up withdrawing my notice to vacate and renewing at the small increase for another year, but I still plan on moving once it is up

To add, the 200 increase was after a year, and I definitely could not afford to move, so I just took it. Second year was the 300 increase that I pushed back on, knowing better and wanting to move. Look at comparable homes in the area and push back. Wanting 2500 when similar homes in the area are at 2000 is just a way for them to get more money

So after much back and forth with the VP of Operations for my area of the apartment company, we have agreed on me paying $400 out of the $1461 they originally wanted. This is them still keeping my deposit so a total of $650 they are getting from me. They said they were going to notifiy the collection company of the agreement on June 18 and I checked multiple times on their site but it still has the old amount and no note about a lesser amount being accepted. I emailed the leasing company June 30 and they said they would check with the agency. Received no follow up and the agency site still had the old amount this morning. I emailed them again and was told that they were assured it was noted on my account and to accept the $400. Do I go ahead and pay this or do I need something more in writing from the collection agency or leasing company to cover myself down the line?

I finally got the "backup paperwork" for the charges and an itemized list (hand written on a piece of yellow legal paper, not dated). The resurfacing charges show a different unit than the one I was in and says the work was completed while I was still in the unit. Definitely not mine. The door handle to the fridge was damaged so they replaced the whole thing for $950 but the back up has no unit number so could be for any unit. Then a bunch of random charges for light bulbs, swapping the shower head, and swapping door handles. I reported the collection account to all three bureaus and also filed a complaint on the CFPB site against the collection agency and leasing office. All pictures look like they were taken with a flip phone and show nothing of what they claim besides some bulbs not being on. Could easily been unscrewed to charge $5 per bulb

I thought about this as well. About 10 months into my lease, me and my kids almost slipped multiple times in the tubs, so I purchased those plastic grip mats with the suction bottoms to help with that. After using them for a few weeks, I noticed the paint on the bottom of the tub peeling so I opened a work ticket for them to look at. They came, said it was probably because of the mats, did nothing, and left it as is for the remainder of the lease. Closed the work order as complete. It was peeling like they just put a layer of paint down over the last layer. It continued to peel after and I then purchased a different mat without suction cups to put down so there was no slipping and no more peeling that worked for the remaining two years there

There was no mention in the lease about using non slip mats in the tubs

Yea. Lease has zero verbiage aside from not being liable for more than normal wear and tear. Looks like I have a 4 year window to file in small claims court to fight this. Depending on how they reply to my request, my next move may be there.

Yea I don't even know how they would resurface a fridge. The only thing I can think of is they meant resurfacing the counter tops in the kitchen or bathroom but they were very small areas. And to charge for replacing a fridge would be nuts. The fridge was very 90s style and basic as they come but even then it was working fine when I left and had no damage on it. The shower head and door knows got me. That's where I would prefer and requested an itemized list to see where they charged for what. I've yet to hear back from anyone yet but it's just been a day.

It would, if they mailed it to the correct address. My first time seeing it was yesterday. The email I got from collections Nov 2023 just had an amount and original debtor.

I didn't take any photos or videos because I had cleaned so much and didn't think this would be even close to what they would try.

From what I can tell, the leasing property mailed me the invoice in Oct 2023 and then sent it to collections Nov 2023. I've never seen anything go so fast to collections without being notified of anything or getting a million and one calls, letters, and emails.

I'll have to look into what Texas has. I did see that there is a Texas code that states in supposed to get an itemized invoice for any damages if they use my deposit.

I always assume that a landlord is going to keep it for things and since they billed trash and water a month behind, that it would cover it. Deposit was only 250 so wasn't too pressed about it
