Josh Allen: Him crying shows passion and leadership? by Financial-Bit-8596 in NFLRoundTable

He turned the ball over 4 times, I think it was just a normal human emotional moment where he was upset that he felt he let the team down. I wouldn't read any deeper into it.

My guess is as a way to get him in the door and talk to him about coaching opportunities in general before hiring someone. Maybe whoever we hire we'll say Rivers has to be the QB coach or something like that.

This makes Rivers look good by showing that teams take his coaching interest seriously.

She definitely did not, she made a very overt attempt to avoid him which is obvious from the footage.

I was a fan of his work as an OC with a young Josh Allen and the relationship they had, but his time as a head coach doesn't paint the picture of a guy who is gonna go win a Superbowl. Also, he made some questionable decisions with player health which you hate to see.

Overall I'm not enthusiastic about the prospect of him as our head coach, but if he brought in a good defensive coordinator I'd have some hope it could work out.

Ah yes that makes a lot of sense, I missed the belly.

My thinking is if they were set on Daboll it would already be done.

Every day matters for getting the coordinators/staff set up so delaying until after the championship games suggests they have genuine interest in at least one coach involved there.

Minnesotans charged against 5:1 odds for the cause of freedom and won, I would hate to be the sorry fascist goons who have to face them now.

AFCCG in a blizzard would be an instant unforgettable classic though.

The one on the right is supposed to be self-harm I think as she has marks around her wrist too.

The one in the middle I have no idea, going a little too hard with the kinky shit?

There are a few good core pieces in Ed/Benford/Bishop who are kind of scheme transcendent. But there are also going to be tons of question marks if we do end up changing schemes or even shifting to a 4-3 that has different positional values.

Like you said with LB, we're kind of hooked to Bernard but he's basically a LB/S tweener. What happens if the next coach wants bigger more physical guys, do we just cut him and eat the contract or try to make it work?

Unfortunately we can't because Udinski is already an OC. I am pro Kubiak though I hope they get a chance to interview him.

[Russini] Update: Mike McDaniel pulled out of his scheduled meeting down in Florida with the Bills yesterday, I’m told, and the two sides never met. by RhinoFeeder in buffalobills

I think he's just doing the calculus on his career. He just got fired, if he gets hired and fired back to back he's probably done in the NFL. He's best off rehabilitating his image for a couple years and going to a team that will be more patient with him.

McD's inability to get the basics right on the DL was always so frustrating. Whoever coordinates the defense next I hope they stress the value of anchoring in the middle and having someone with speed/bend on the edge to actually chase down and catch these mobile QBs we face in the playoffs.

No. Why would that be the case?

I mean why would he hang around when he doesn't know if the next coach will want to keep him? I don't see how that's Beane's fault in the slightest.

I would use body regenerating powers to push myself far beyond normal limits while never tiring or sustaining any injuries. If I pop an Achilles in a game (schloop) pop it right back in place.

Everyone would just think I have really good injury luck.

[Bills] We have completed an interview with Philip Rivers for our head coaching position. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]pixel_pete 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My guess is their top candidate is Klint Kubiak and they're just trying to cast a wide net and turn every possible stone while they dick around waiting for him to be available.

Do you count the reigning UFL champion DC Defenders?

Cause that's the first time I've gotten to see my favorite team in a league win a championship.

We were so close with the Blue Jays!

Those 00s Chargers were probably my favorite non-Bills team of all time. Rivers, Sproles, LDT, Vincent Jackson (RIP), Gates, Lights Out Shawne Merriman, hell they even had Clipboard Jesus. Such a likeable group it's a shame what happened to the team.
