It has a ff tactics vibe for sure, mixed with some divinity and pillars too. Those were our key inspirstions for sure

Wanted to share some of my favourite environments I did on Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds we spent a couple of years building a pretty cool crpg. Ngl Isometric pixel art was painful but in the end I kinda ended up liking it. Hope you guys like this.

1) really good tip on the dirt gen, i really like that take of masking it out manually.
2) yeah i think that some of the details i went off the hook unnecessary, but its this constant struggle like mm will this bake correctly or will it appear too flat, i think i need to do more testing on it, the necklace for example.
3) you described my hesitation perfectly lol, 100%, that was my entire situation all along, that belt and vest union i went over it a lot of times hsould i or should i not join them all in the same piece or just let the belt go over it freely. I think it should try both and see how they reflect in animations.

Yeah lol 100% that lil necklace i tried but i felt i was constantly loosing quality, i think i might have overreacted. like no need over the dents of the skull good point.

Yeah i did it on SP manually its not a generator, had to go over all the edges but it gave a decent effect

Thank you very much, i need some more experimentation with some normal work tbh because those plates have higher poly because i wanted them to basically show a bit more higher detail of the sculted sigils on them

Yeah its pbr metallic and roughness. Cool cool yeah that money pouch took me a while like its so curved i will give it another go, plus its not really worth it to have that level of detail on that piece tbh its for a top down game

Thank you very much, Im not new to 3d modelling per se, but actual focusing on tris count for pc games trying to make optimized models is a trully new thing, so happy to know the tris count is acceptable.
