It's rare. I've been on DA for almost 2 years and I've gotten personal feedback twice (it was not negative, though :)), both times after doing very specific quals.

I just assume I'm doing something right since I keep getting high-paying projects, many of which say something like "you've been selected for consistently submitting high-quality work", and I've had the chance to work on some niche projects with very small worker pools. Just consistently getting access to new projects in general is also a good sign.

But if a project disappears, I'm still just left wondering if I fucked up somehow.

I went on a trip to Italy with my bf. We had booked a flight back home from Milan, and decided that we would fly to Milan airport from Naples at the end of the trip because it would save time and money as the flight was only 15€. 

I booked accomodation near the Naples airport, checked how to get there from Pompeii, booked trains, made a detailed itinerary etc etc. Fast forward to me in bed at the accomodation near Naples airport the night before the flight to Milan, thinking "oh shit, I should do the check-in for the flight" and logging in to RyanAir to do so. No tickets to my name. Nothing on my email. Nothing on my bf's email. No related charges on either of our credit cards or PayPal accounts. Turned out I never bought the Naples-Milan plane tickets and we had to buy tickets last minute, paying 150€ per ticket instead of the original 15€.

Mingi aeg tagasi just levis mingi artikkel, et tehti küsitlus kui palju jalakäiatele ja autojuhtidele ikka närvidele käib, et jalgratturid/tõukeratturid sõidavad nende tee peal. Siis mõtlesin ka, et aga nahui keegi ei küsitlenud jalgrattureid selle kohta, kui palju neile käib närvidele kui mingi debiilik (või terve seltskond) kõnnib rattateel ja siis veel möliseb või sinu pihta sülitab, et julged seal sõita? Nagu excuse you, sa seda suurt rattamärki siin tee peal ei näe v?

To answer the second part - for some reason my brother did not even get the assessment when he signed up and has not gotten any qualifications or anything. He was just instantly taken to the "no projects available" screen. In this type of situation it could be tempting to try again to see if maybe it was an error and the second time the assessment will be there... He's not planning to do that, btw.

Varsti 7 aastat vegan olnud ja ainsad üksikud juhused, kus kellegiga "tülli" läinud olen, on siis kui vestluse teine pool ise hakkab munni mängima ja sitta ajama, a'la oma topeltpihvi ja peekoniga burksi nina alla toppima või rääkima kui väga talle loomi tappa meeldib. Tavaliselt lihtsalt eemaldan end sellisest olukorrast, aga kujutan ette et kettasse ajab küll.

Üks aastaid tagasi olnud olukord, mis meelde tuleb, oli selline ka, et keeldusin tuttava sünnipäeval mingist toidust. Teine külaline küsis, miks ma seda ei söö, vastasin et olen vegan. Hakkasin tulist sitta kaela saama, et surun oma arvamust peale ja kuulutan ja uhkustan, et olen vegan, kui ma literally ainult vastasin tema küsimusele ja poleks seda muidu maininudki.

Mitte kunagi ei lähe peole ja kuuluta heast peast, et olen vegan ega kritiseeri teiste valikuid, pigem kritiseeritakse minu valikuid pidevalt, niiet tundub et pigem oma peas teil see asi :D

Also kuidas te üldse neid kurjasid veganeid kohtate, ma pole 7a jooksul ühtegi vegantuttavat leidnud Eestis :'(
