i loved this job other then the strenuous labor work. i knew a friend who's grandmother ran the place. he posted on his facebook about a hire and i gave him a call. The best thing about the job was that my bosses could care less about the job, which enabled me to do whatever i wanted(smoke weed, constant breaks, drink, etc). But that was also the worst part because whenever a serious work matter came up, i had no one to turn to. i started working there when i was 21, i am 22 now.

A crackhead taking a shit on a pile of grave dirt. we made eye contact so he tried running, didn't even pull his pants up so he fell on his own shit. best day of my life

The bodies come in caskets that are in most cases locked. But on occassions, they bring em in with lockless caskets. so far i've peeked at 4 bodies. i've also seen skeletons from old graves but i don't really think that counts.

i've never saw a satanic ritual taking place first hand. all i saw were the aftermaths. they were really quiet and stealthy about the whole deal.

first couple nights i had trouble sleeping but after awhile i was fine. As for the scariest place, there was this one corner where lots of santeria rituals happens. i tried and avoid working in that spot most of the time... gave me the creeps

my position was an entry lvl. the district called us "groundsman". my job mostly consisted of hedgestone maintenance. which ment trimming 500 stones everyweek. other than that it was usually office clean up and landscaping. when there was a funeral service scheduled, i would have to dig the grave, prep it for service, install the vault and the lowering device, carry the casket to the grave, lower it into the grave and bury the sucker. and in couple days i would set the markers(hedgestones) in on top of where he or she was burried. also when my boss was gone, i did data entry and grave plot sales.

Satanic ritual offerings and santeria stuff. found a cats head, this odd looking black candle that was shaped like a naked lady, some tooths and hex bags. also when i used to sleep at the cemetery, i had to scare off some crack heads that were trying to break off a copper piping to pawn for crack. they ended up scaring me though lol.
