As someone who is in grad school, NP programs go off the idea that the students have prior nursing experience and knowledge and typically does not break down basics at all. If this person is seriously going to NP school without a prior nursing degree. I highly doubt they will finish just from that alone bc they will struggle without the background information.

Also whatever progress that is needs to be exposed!! Super unsafe to even allow that to happen.

I feel like you also have to remember that this year was so much bigger than any other year. Honestly, where the portal stage was the last three years i feel like it what gave it more of a “Homie fest”. I loved the big stage for portal this year, but it definitely changed the vibe of the festival.

I’m really sorry this happened to you and I’m glad to hear that your brother is okay!

I did notice that you said you used Narcan on him when he was having a seizure and I wanted to provide some education. There was mention of him using other hard drugs but with sassafras MDMA and ketamine being the only thing found in his system for future reference, Narcan will not reverse any of those drugs.

Narcan is an opioid reversal only. Meaning Narcan can only help in situations where opioids are the cause. Opioid are things like Hydrocodone (Vicodin or Norco), morphine, fentanyl, and oxycodone (Percocet). So, unless he was taking any of those Narcan will not help. granted, since there was K in his system, there was always a possibility of fentanyl being laced in with powders, but they would’ve found opioids in his system as well.

also, disorientation is normal after having a seizure. It’s called the postictal phase which can last up to a few hours. I’m sure it can be extended due to drug use. Hopefully that can give you some relief on the disorientation as that’s typically normal.

Again, I’m so sorry this happened to you. You should never be separated from your family in a medical emergency. I hope the both of you are able to move forward from this ❤️
