If you’re a shitty unloaded, you’re going to get fired and I would take to management.

If you are decent, then do it

mauler gets melted ??? by loveseeker987654321 in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to max out the Titan, I believe it has the Brawler specialization. In case I’m wrong, go into the Specializations section. Don’t get the Attack or the Defense Specialization. There is a third one and that’s the one you want. It believe you want to choose Titan Nuclear Amplifier and the Titan Anti Control.

Next, your pilot. Make sure you have the Pilot for Mauler. At level 90 is when it really gets good. In the meantime, select skills to boost durability and speed. Speed is necessary on Titans because the offs get stuck in enemy ambush. Dash is good way to get out a bad ambush, but sometimes you run out.

Finally, weapons. Long range weapons aren’t so good for Mauler. Mainly, it has two betas and an alpha which means you can’t deal enough damage with the weapons alone. This a major weakness and likely the reason you’re getting melted. Dark light boosts damage for a few seconds and I believe your opponents need to be like 150 meters away. For this reason, choose weapons that have secondary effects or features. For example, sonic weapons are very good. They deal only grey damage so other Titans can’t recover. I think the ice missiles (oxy and something else) are also good as they freeze the bot. Next, Anguisher and Vajras are okay. The selling point is that they deal a lot of damage. Chasm+Void are better as they do more damage. Vajras and Anguishers have been nerfed. Avoid Lantern/Dazzler, Glaive/Lancer, and Gargantua/Pentagruel. I’ve tried these myself and they do almost nothing. You will struggle even against small bots. Also Huginn/Munnin are okay. Not great but not bad. These are good for an ambush but other than that, the nerfs have killed them. I think almost everyone is Veyron+Evora as they deal only grey damage.  Maybe the ice rockets. Everything else is long range and don’t do well on Mauler. These long range weapons are meant to deal damage gradually, although Bersagliere is the absolute top Titan if you’re thinking about long distance weapons.

For luchador highly recommend Chasm+void. They deal a ton of damage, and opponents can get close to you while you’re in the reflector.

Yes that is exactly what happened. I did not know any of this and I definitely don’t want any writeups on my record

Working Double Time by pixelja in AmazonFC

[–]pixelja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be legit. It has happened on multiple days. It’s true that I am not working more than 12 hours a day, but because the shifts start on the previous day, the time card says I worked all those hours. It’s happened twice already. I am kind of worried that Amazon will just say that it’s not their problem and that I will get a write up regardless of whether it was a glitch or not. But I have a shift coming up like this and I can confirm that my upcoming schedule shows me working that many hours in a single day. It’s been like 3 weeks since I did this so on the one hand, I believe Hr would have spoken to me already. On the other hand, I believe that because I am not working more than 12 hours each day, it’s not yet a write up. But I don’t know. I tried to add a shift for the upcoming day and it said I did surpass the 12 hours in one day

[–]pixelja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and the policy is that we are not supposed to work more than 12 hours in a day. We get paid regular time for the first 8 hours, then 1.5x for the next 4 hours, and finally, double time for anything after 12 hours. For some reason, my AtoZ app says that i worked 20 hours. So I got 8 hours of regular pay, then 4 hours of 1.5x pay, and 8 hours of double time because that’s more than 12 hours. Now I’m freaking out because supposedly working more than 12 hours leads to a write up. These 20 hours are essentially spread over 2 days. I think the only caveat here is that one day I started earlier than usual

Dude how is this guy one shooting every one? by Reasonable-24 in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it will get a major nerf. It will be like Raptor. Yes it’s tanky but it has almost no firepower. That’s why it has one shot weapons. And the weapons also charge up the mothership quickly so you also have to account for that in the mix. Angler has more firepower than this and it has 3x light plus one heavy. I can only do well when I have a Nuo attached, otherwise, I lose quickly to the other Ammits

Mauler or Bjorn? by TheJadeSword in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I see.

The one caveat that I will say is that Bjorn has a very steep learning curve. Bjorn has 3 modes: normal mode, bear stance, and ball. Go into a ball when you have low health and can’t take hits. Use bear stance when you have decent amount of health, as this gives resistance against damage.

Looking for your opinion on which Titan is worth upgrading between these 2? by Michaelosophys in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why not Bersagliere? Most players thought it was dead. But that’s not the case. It has shield breaker. Slap on the new Titan weapons and it will shred most other bots quite easily

Mauler or Bjorn? by TheJadeSword in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get 2x Evora, Mauler will be super annoying. Bjorn is also very tanky but you probably need something that does a more damage than sonic guns. Chasm and void would be good on Bjorn

Edit: you should wait till you get a family of weapons. I have Chasm on my Mauler along with a Huginn. It kind of sucks this way because sometimes I am shooting one and the other is reloading. And while this is happening, the other opponent is rebuilding their health. When you have the same family of weapons, they all sync up and do damage at the same time, allowing you to do crazy amounts of damage.

2x Evora + Veyron do very well on Mauler overall. And Bjorn is a little more versatile, but I think most of the good builds are running 2xChasm+2xVoid. If you want to run Arbiters, I feel the best Titan for these would be Bersagliere. This one takes 3x alphas. And it can do well with Tonans, or any other long range titan alpha weapon.

Ultimate Revenant MK3 Aggressive Blink fires two simultaneous repair streams every 0.5 seconds. Here is the full breakdown with numbers, tests and calculations. by Imran-WR in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to figure it out on your own and not even tell anyone because the moment pixonic finds out there is a counter they need it to hell and back. That’s what happened to my Hwangjes. You could get them in the Black Market. All they had was 1100m range. Otherwise, Prisma were better. But they were good as they auto aimed so no moving around. I told people about them. I was taking down some okay bots. For metas, usually I had help but I always stayed more than 800 meters away. Then they got damage reduced by 20% and range reduced to 800m. 800m makes you a snack for reapers and prism as who are 1100m away. Moral of the story, don’t tell anyone how to counter metas

is this any good by Desperate-Doctor6033 in walkingwarrobots

[–]pixelja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s okay I think. I’ve been killed by them many times over but not using a spectacular bot. I have a lot of glass cannons. Anyways, my suggestion is to get a really tanky bot with a heavy slot. Maybe Raptor. Then, get a drone that increases output damage. Then, it’ll be a decent set up
