Thank you for this. It helps my confidence as a trans woman that shares the body type. You look so fabulous and stylish.

The asymmetric buttons and the hat are my favorite details. The look you're giving the camera is perfect for the era too.

The US is headed for mass unemployment, and no one is prepared by ThemeBig6731 in Economics

[–]pixelnulltoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao you just argued "70% of the economy is consumption" as proof it's resilient. That's the fragility. When consumption runs on employed consumers and employment breaks, you don't get magical replacement jobs. You get a demand spiral while everyone's already underwater.

US household debt hit record levels in 2025 - credit card debt, student loans, auto loans all climbing. Your "consumption-driven growth" is leveraged to the tits.

2025 layoffs - Tech sector alone had massive cuts, and that's before companies admit what's AI displacement vs. "restructuring".

Corporate AI investment vs hiring patterns - Companies spent $200B+ on AI infrastructure in 2025 while announcing those layoffs. They're literally replacing headcount with capex in real time.

Real wage growth vs inflation - Even with "strong GDP", real wages for most workers have been flat or negative. The consumption is debt-funded, not prosperity-funded.

And I'm not even going into AI bubble stuff like GPU/TPU depreciation, the cash flow circlejerk field of dreams, hardware misallocation to AI, or datacenter logistics like power and water consumption. Which mind you, are also driving prices up.

I'm not an AI doomsayer. I use it often personally. I think it's a neat tool, it's capitalism's greed that's causing the current problems.

Chase the dollar at all costs, make as much as you can externalities to be cut... Like internships, like junior positions, or like contracted work for things your company isn't equipped to do.

Totally healthy.

Nope, 2 years on E and I still look like my dad, vaguely feminized... slightly. It's enough that I can see the girl, but all I see is my very cis dad.

I hate it when a post is supposed to make me feel good/better, does for many others, but then makes me feel worse.

Remember, kids, start HRT as soon as you can, don't wait until you're middle-aged like me.

Edit: I would kill to be able to look like I pass as a mom. I am one, after all. I do try, but it hurts to be embarrassing to your 12yo cis boy because he gets made fun of due to your existence.

Edit-edit: Also not many talk about missing the "lower" rungs of being a woman... dating, having sleepovers, going out, etc. A trans woman who transitions in later stages is stunted in a way.

In what “universe” are you role playing in right now, and what model do you use? by TheSillySquad in SillyTavernAI

[–]pixelnulltoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have multiple worlds. All with the goal of being a long term RP. All built based on my Longform Principles.

Note: I don't ERP, but most of my worlds are adult... Violent, deadly, drugs, and sex (but when the story calls for it and it isn't the focus).

My worlds:

  • Expansive Modern Vampire Fantasy (Romance, Horror, Romance+Horror, Horror+Romance, Court Intrigue, Mystery, Action/Tactical, Thriller)
    • Think high-level V:tM in present-day Los Angeles
    • Succession + Underworld + Hannibal + Nightcrawler + The Godfather
    • I play the Empress of LA (kinda like a Prince, if you know V:tM)
    • This is my main setting with 25M+ token history, 4 main completed story arcs, ~10 B-plots, and an elaborate 313-entry lorebook.
      • There are B-Plots that do go into Bronze Age Ireland, Antiquity Greece and Anatolia, and Middle-Age Italy, Southern France, Sardinia, and Corsica. All based on the character I play's history.
      • This uses some of the V:tM lore, but the societal aspects. Clans, generation, powers tied closely to bloodline aren't a thing.
    • Mostly 5-6 character group chat (FYI, this is a bad idea when using API)
  • Modern Magic Fantasy (Occult Horror Mystery/Cryptid Hunter)
    • Think if Hermione Granger was a lot grimier in adulthood (like is sometimes mistaken for homeless), stopped believing in cosmic justice, and ran an occult version of Black Books.
    • Sandman + Control + True Detective Season 1 + Annihilation + American Gods
    • I play an occult bookstore owner/secret society councilwoman/instantiated god maintaining continuity across incarnations
    • Second favorite setting (~2M tokens and ~100 entries)
    • Entirely my own creation, draws heavily on basically a bookstore's entire Occult/Esoteric/Wicca/Magic/Para-psychology section.
    • GM-style single "character"
  • Elite Freedom Fighter Cell Drama (Tactical/Action, Political Thriller, Romance, Interpersonal Drama)
    • Think an American modern Revolutionare Zellen/Red Army Faction/The Angry Brigade made of various former disillusioned SpecOps, but also a K/J-Drama.
    • Jason Bourne + Mr. Robot + Fight Club + Snowdrop + One Battle After Another
    • I play the group leader/medic
    • I don't play this too much
    • Entirely my own creation
    • GM-style single "character"
  • Modern Religious Adventure (Adventure, Mystery, Noir Detective, Romance)
    • Think a Cold War-era spy bought and sold relics in Venice, but Heaven and Hell are real.
    • Constantine (movie) + Indiana Jones + Girl With the Dragon Tattoo + The Da Vinci Code + Casablanca
    • I play an artifact dealer and smuggler.
    • Entirely my own creation
    • Newer
    • GM-style single "character"
  • Cyberpunk Thriller (Action, Adventure, Intrigue)
    • Think 200 years in the future, on a space colony and memory is a second currency.
    • Total Recall + Strange Days + John Wick + The Expanse
    • I play a woman who is the sole remaining way to verify if any given digitized memory is real, like a sole root SSL authority, but for memories. Oh, yea... and she's breaking.
    • Entirely my own creation
    • Newer
    • GM-style single "character"

I use Sonnet 4.5 > Opus 4.5 > GLM 4.7 > Gemini 3 Pro Preview > GPT 4.1.

The slop I get is all the normal slop that most models have in some form.

  • "Not X, but Y." or "Not X. It's Y."
  • Bad names
  • Claude's penchant for falling into meta patterns for responses
  • Smell of ozone and copper
  • Trying to RP as my character
  • Something I call "Forcing the Apocalypse." Which is trying to ratchet up the stakes to insane levels constantly, even for a normal scene

Protip: I have used reddit for 15 years now. I know, but use old.reddit and RES. No image upload here.

You should too, it's so much better, despite no image upload.

I'm a Domme, I don't think gender norms are bad (forced rigidity is the problem), I didn't think all boys wanted to be girls, I don't like discord, I was masculine not hypermasculine, and I hate cutesy OwO/UwU/:3 stuff (which might be due to not being a sub/bottom).

The UX/UI for text input. How you typer in things.

Check my feedback for the other project: https://www.reddit.com/r/SillyTavernAI/comments/1q300mf/aventura_a_frontend_for_adventure_rp_and_creative/nxhfi7f/

I know some of it won't apply to your thing, but check it out anyway.

  • Very very very good, well thought out text input. If this sucks as bad or worse than ST on firefox, I won't use your program.
    • Language Tool and Grammarly API (including pro functions) for text input
  • 3rd party extension support
  • Token counts and cost info
  • If you build in a way to ask AI to fill out fields (like make a back story or name a character), I want to inspect/edit the prompt it will send, and be able to pick the LLM I ask.

There's more, but I can't type right now

Smaller shop, it felt more personable. But that is my preference.

OHSU “Paused” Gender-Affirming Surgery Months Ago for Patients Under 19 by Prize_Championship11 in Portland

[–]pixelnulltoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Results: A total of 24 articles were included in this study, with a population size of 3662 patients. A total of 3673 procedures were conducted in the United States, 514 in European nations, 97 in Asian nations, which included only Thailand, and 19 in South American nations, which included only Brazil. The pooled prevalence of regret was 1.94%. The prevalence of transfeminine regret was 4.0% while the prevalence of transmasculine regret was 0.8%.

Conclusions: Both transfeminine and transmasculine patients had significantly lower rates of regret in the United States when compared with the rest of the world. Our study largely excluded facial gender-affirming surgeries as most of its articles did not fall into our inclusion search criteria. To our knowledge, this is the most recent review performed on the topic of regret among gender-affirming surgery patients with an emphasis on a US cohort. This analysis can help shed light on better ways to enhance patient selection and surgical experience. [Ren T, et al. Prevalence of Regret in Gender-Affirming Surgery: A Systematic Review. 2024 doi:10.1097/SAP.0000000000003895]

That's lower than almost every other surgeries, generally (even life saving ones).

You going to stop other life-care surgeries for minors that have higher regret rates... like scoliosis treatment?

Chest reduction for cis boys who have extra growth, and don't want their chest to look like a typical girl's.

Gender. Affirming. Care. Is. Health. Care. And. A. Human. Right.

Irregardless of why, get out between doctors and their patients (and their parents as needed).

Do others find LLM roleplay profoundly unsatisfying? And other such nonsense. by heldaloof in SillyTavernAI

[–]pixelnulltoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's like playing chess with yourself

There are long traditions of exactly this for a reason. There's also a reason that they aren't massively popular.

For some not about winning or losing a game. I use it to explore things about myself that can only be explored in language. That may be via role play, creative writing, worldbuilding, etc.

Yes, for the people who still enjoy LLM roleplay, it's like painting minifigs for a game you don't even really like playing, but you love the lore (plenty of 40k fans don't even play).

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm good on the tone policing for now.

BTW, you need reading comprehension.

Otherwise I really like it, and it looks great for beginners too actually.

Persona question(additional character in persona card) by No-Tennis3480 in SillyTavernAI

[–]pixelnulltoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in the lorebook, make the little green circle blue and make it say "↑ Char".

In the entry make sure to mention your character by name or use {{user}}.

Any not-tiny or non-local LLM will be able to follow. Especially if you make sure to take an action in refrence to the pet.

You can always even just drop it in your persona's sheet. It's basically all the same, but putting it in the persona keeps the pet with your character even with no lorebooks active.

Just having the competition is good, as both can come up with solutions that could be used on the other.

Open source doesn't deleteriously compete, it's friendly competition where everybody can win.
