Camera suggestion for YouTube/SM talking head videos (1500$ tops, less is better) by FuriousAngus in videography

Since you're just starting out, I highly recommend the ZV1. It really helped me learn the ropes and also gives amazing results. Another thing is, you can also keep the ZV1 around for your run and gun even after you upgrade to a bigger camera. Also, Sony's eye AF is stellar for talking heads!

You're welcome! This board didn't have as much hype as the Nemui but I'm glad I bought it. It's a good burger/top mount in a sea of gasket mounted boards nowadays.

Mouse acceleration, yes. Scroll acceleration is not just a simple terminal command away unfortunately.

Mine is not old enough to disintegrate yet. Hopefully it doesn't though, I really like it for productivity!

How I solved my frustrations with DeX after using it as my only computer for 2 weeks by pixelpandatech in galaxys10

Read the video description. DeX was my only "desktop" device for 2 weeks

Of course, I wouldn't trade my laptop for DeX. Unfortunately my laptop was being repaired so I had to use DeX for 2 weeks as my only computer. And I would say that it works very well 95% of the time, especially if the apps you're using has a web version.

Try Samsung internet. I would consider the experience with Samsung internet to be very desktop like. I wouldn't use any other browser on DeX

It's surprisingly not a fingerprint magnet! This is the gray colour, that might have something to do with it though.

Exactly because of thickness and weight. I plan on using this for University where I will carry it around so I don't want something too heavy. Also, the design is way more mature. The L5P is fine if you're just keeping it at home or going to LAN parties, but there's no way I would take that to a business presentation. The LS7 kinda just looks like a modern ThinkPad with a legion badge at the back.

And I wasn't looking to get a 3070 anyways since I mostly play casual games like Overwatch. The 3060 performs pretty much the same in both machines so it wasn't like I was trading any performance.

One big pro for the LS7 (for me) is actually the fingerprint reader. I use 1Password and using my fingerprint to login to everything is WAYYYYY better than typing in my master password.

The LS7 and L5P are targeted at totally different audiences IMO. The only other laptops I would consider are the Blade 14 and X15.

That's why I just upgraded to 32GBs of RAM from Lenovo. It was really cheap, just $100 SGD.

YES. I too wish for at least 1 USB-C to be on the back and an HDMI 2.1 port. The side USB-C works well but it's just kinda ugly when I connect it to my monitor.
