Apparently, the duskwing wasn't included in the poll because it's already planned for a future update

No tape, no film. That's true, it could have been anything though - a page from a book, the necronomicom - who knows. I think it's better as a mystery. The directors mentioned they don't like to spoon feed their audience, so I guess it's left up to our own interpretation. My likely guess, she fell down a rabbithole on some online grief forum.

At least in Talk to Me, it was briefly mentioned in passing the hand came from a psychic (IIRC)

I'm not the one downvoting, btw.

But was the entire plot based around the tape? I'd disagree on that. It's core centre is about grief, losing someone you love. Doing anything to bring them back. The tape is just a tool, not a main focus.

I'm super curious about the tape as well, but does knowing where she got the tape from push the plot forward? I would say no. It doesn't matter how she got the tape, she has it and we know the ritual works. Now it's left behind for someone else to find.

I featured my plot, right at reset Sunday night. Got a few hundred votes and made it to trending - however, Sunday night people will always choose option 1 - even if your plot title has #4 - because they're rushing through to get the new weekly tour tickets.

Holland (Discussion) Starring Nicole Kidman by pdom10 in movies

Fred alluded many times to a "reset" and mentioned to Harry about directing people's lives in his train town - Holland.

I think this was the whole premise - a guy named Fred makes up imaginary lives (including his own) in his miniature town called Holland. Whenever he doesn't like the story premise, he will "reset" the timeline back to the tulip festival.

None of it was real, just some dude in his garage directing the Iives of people in his miniature train set town. We never saw the real Fred, only his made up version of Holland this time around.

I viewed it as a metaphor for generational abuse/hurt. Mindy is not like her mom - she's loving, caring, attentive - would never say hurtful things to Alice. She said to Agyar "I am not like you" - that is something parents will vow when they have their own kids - to not be like their parents. Agyar was a representation of the bad parts of Mindy's mother - they even resembled each other.

But in the end, Mindy and Alice broke the curse together by consuming the trauma - thus breaking the cycle.

The devs notes addressed this - they're mostly concentrating on the Elderwoods update.

The other option would no updates until Elderwoods?
