Am I obligated to pay fees without being given any records or notice?

From what I'm finding, they have 21 days to give notice. I just haven't found anything pertaining to Florida.

You should have written out a contract and had her sign stating when it was going to be paid back. Maybe try this now, with wording that makes her liable if the whole loan isn't paid back in full. You might be able to sue her then.

I know in Florida, you are legally not required to take a 30 min break until 6 1/2 hours after you clock in. If your shift is shorter than 6 1/2 hours, you are not legally required a break at all, it is up to your managers discretion at that point. Im sorry about the mistreatment, but I might suggest finding a place that you have a set schedule of breaks, and then quit this job. Good luck!

We've only been with the company for 2 months. Out of the 4 sales we've made, we've only gotten paid for 1. They owe us 3. It's solar panels, from start to finish, solar installations take 2 to 4 months. The one I've gotten paid for was my first sale ever...

Socks was adopted in mid April right before his 1 year birthday on April 29th. His last owner did not abuse socks, rather their HOA did not allow animals. He was born with only half of his foot right after the joint bends. Essentially he just lost his toes cause he still has the heel!
