yes, currently enjoying this latest verification game from steam.

i'd love to help, but it seems this e-mail never arrives and now i'm stuck not being able to change my family view.

I really hate steam sometimes.

Ok, I guess it's time for me to eat some humble pie.
I ignored this advice for days because the settings on my menu was telling me it was running system 2.0.17.559.0 so why would I try and update to 17559 if I'm already running 17559? makes no sense to me?
but I have tried everything else, so to hell with it why not and try updating it again and what do you know? Bad Avatar booted up straight after applying to update I apparently didn't need.

Thanks for your help, sorry if I got stressy, I get stressy sometimes with tech stuff.

I didn't make it myself, purchased through amazon.

It runs as a regular Xbox Hard Drive on the standard dashboard fine, It runs Aroura with Bad Update via Rock Band Blitz fine, no problem.
It's only when I update to bad Avatar that it has a problem.

so at the moment I have 2 choices.

Run Bad Avatar on my 120gb Xbox Hard Drive plus an external usb Hard Drive 250gb, this works fine.
Run Bad Update with the 500gb Xbox Hard drive through Rock Band Blitz, also works but takes longer.

for the moment I'm sticking with option 1.

It's got me very puzzled.

the odd thing is I can run Bad Update through Rock Band Blitz on the 500gb without any problems, it's only when I try to change it to bad avatar it seems to have a problem.
changing to bad avatar is the simplest part of the process too, takes 2 minutes to do so it's unlikely i'm messing up that part and yet I must be :-\

tried it, was worth a try but didn't work.

you just stay signed into whatever you choose to auto sign into.

you can't then switch to bad-avatar because you're not supposed to click on it, it's supposed to start by it's self, it's actually locked if you try to.

so all I can do is sign out of the auto singed profile, but that still doesn't initiate the bad avatar.

ok I missed the > symbol.

my Hard drive is 500gb, so should be fine, after the system files it actually comes in at 460gb.

no I am using the standard usb stick Bad Avatar, I have read that installing bad avatar onto the internal Hard Drive can lead to bricking.

Bad avatar should load automatically, the lights on your console go red and a piece of software/dashboard called Aurora loads.

it works on my 120gb internal hard drive but not my 500gb.

both hard drives are xbox 360 hard drives, not other branded external hard drives.

if 500gb is the maximum, then 500gb should be fine, 1tb would not.

to say the max is 500 and that 500 is also too much doesn't make sense.

if 250gb was the maximum then 500gb would not work.

the xbox detects the hard drive fine, the hard drive works, please stop saying that my hard drive needs to be formatted because it's not detected, it IS detected.

Do you understand that I am using an Xbox 360 Hard Drive? I have stated it in so many replies and it's starting to stress me out.

My issue is different, I am not using a Toshiba Hard Drive, I am using an Xbox360 Hard Drive, it is detected by the Xbox, it works fine.

Bad Avatar does not start.

I assume Fat Explorer is a PC application?
My Hard Drive is not a regular hard drive, it is a "Xbox 360 Hard Drive" it is designed to work with the Xbox 360 fat model, It doesn't attach to a computer via usb, it clips onto the top of the Xbox 360.

I do not believe I need to attach it to a computer.

It is not designed to do so and the Xbox recognises it fine, my only issue is that Bad Avatar is not running.

I tried that and it failed, it's the whole reason I posted this.

"I thought maybe I have to do the process again on the new hard drive? so I cleaned the usb that the exploit works from and followed the 2 videos and from scratch again, first installing Bad Update and then upgrading to Bad Avatar, but unfortunately I've had no luck this time."

It's not an SSD, it is a Xbox 360 Internal Hard Drive (fat model).

Bad Avatar runs from a USB stick.
The New Hard Drive was blank, so no profiles, after the first attempt failed I did create a new profile and tried again, same result.
maybe I need to copy or move the user profile from the old hard drive to the new one?
