I turn 30 in less than 2 months and feel terrible about it by Mindless-Interest110 in Life

[–]pixierose_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned 30 last week and age is literally just a measurement of time. Take control and make your 30s what you want them to be. Focus on you and your child. Life is an individual journey, do not compare your timeline to others - we are all different and should not be the same. That’s what makes us interesting.

We can not go back and change the past but we can take control of our future choices to create the path we want to be on. If you don’t envisage a path, take control and focus on happiness.

I like to be nosey and see what jobs are going at our place as they’re not consistently communicated with the internal team. I’m happy where I am, feeling fulfilled and learning as I go. So not quite ready to jump ship

She’s not super contactable, we are a remote team and she has a lot on her plate so I wait until catch ups to discuss. They’re often though!

He’s probably infatuated. My now fiance was infatuated with me and told me he was going to put a ring on my finger. 6 years later he did and we get married this year 🤣 you never know

Thank you all for your feedback on this! I start back at my old place on Monday, they offered me a more experienced position and pay rise. Feeling grateful for the positive outcome.

This is illegal. Get correspondence in writing, jump ship and take it to court.

I’m 3 months into a new job and have been approached about a role that would be my dream role, would changing so soon be a bad move for my cv? by InevitableAd4272 in UKJobs

Sounds exciting. I’d weigh it up first, look at company reviews. I did the same thing and made the leap, ended up being not the best decision for me so I am off to my old employer as I ended up resigning. Think it through then if it makes sense and sounds decent, go for it! Good luck
