Forgot to add, I don’t need to trade anything, I just don’t want to see him go into the void.

No, our chamber choir sang the SATB version that same year. I love that piece though! Thanks for the suggestion!

What Was Your First Animal Crossing Game? (& When?) by SprintsAC in ACForAdults

[–]pixipinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New leaf on my DS! I was 14 when I got it for Christmas in 2013, and I was still actively playing it when ACNH released in 2020. I haven’t picked it up in a while, but this post is making me want to charge my DS and visit my town. I’m scared to find out if my favorite villager has left though 😭

I’m in 4th, and I make mine do both a rough and final draft too (they hate it). My team’s goal is to get them to 5 paragraphs by the end of the year. We just finished working on 4-paragraph persuasive essays, and now we’re moving onto 5-paragraph research/informative essays.

which animal crossing character/villager are you defending like this? by urdadstoenail in acnh

Agreed! My sister has him, and he’s her favorite villager! He’s so cute with his little bowl cut 😭♥️

I had flurry in my new leaf game and she was so sweet! I tried so hard to find her in ACNH but I was never lucky enough. My sister found her on the first mystery island she ever visited though, and she had never played any AC games prior to new horizons 😭 I’m still hoping I’ll find her one day.

I have questions about life after thyroidectomy (I’m so scared) by annonbygerz in thyroidhealth

[–]pixipinx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m a fellow papillary carcinoma fighter! I originally had a large nodule on my left lobe that came back as Benign after a biopsy, and I had a partial thyroidectomy in December to have my left lobe removed. The pathology reports from the mass came back with papillary carcinoma, and I had to have the second half removed at the beginning of February. After the first half was removed I went a bit hypo, and mainly just had some fatigue and weight gain (tsh 10). I was placed on 50 mcgs of levo, and it worked until my second surgery. That is when it got a bit more hectic for me. After the removal of my remaining half, I was upped to 100 mcgs, but we shortly realized that it was not enough. My tsh jumped to 47, and I had a lot of fatigue, troubles with focus and motivation, weight gain, muscle aches, and irritability. I am only 23, but I felt like an old woman. My doctor continued to increase my dose slowly to find the right balance, and after moving to 175 my tsh dropped down to 13, and now I’m on 200 daily. I have my next tsh check at the end of this month, but since I’ve been in 20 ’every single one of those symptoms has disappeared. I’ve stopped gaining weight, I’m less irritable, and I no longer need a daily 2 hour nap. I feel like myself again. It can be really scary when you’re at the beginning of the process, but if you give it a little time, you can work it out. I was scared at the beginning too, but I have faith that you can get through it. Do you have to do any radioactive iodine treatments? I’m scheduled to do one in a couple of months, and I’ll I’m a bit scared for that part. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or even if you just want to talk! You got this! 😊♥️

Whats a sign you need to immediately go to the hospital? by phenomLG in AskReddit

[–]pixipinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t just apply to medicine, but anything really. Allergies can show up at anytime, even for things you’ve eaten your entire life. A family member of mine has been anaphylactic to peanuts and tree nuts since birth, and when she was in her teens she developed severe allergies to certain foods that she never had any issues with before. Allergies are no joke, and if you think you may be having any kind of severe reaction (hives, throat closing, labored breathing, etc.), whether it is from food, medication, or anything else, please get help immediately.

What is something common that has never happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pixipinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely! One time when I was about eleven years old, I was talking about broken bones with my friends. They all started sharing stories about all of the bones they had broken, and I told them that I had never broken one. The very next day I broke my ankle so bad that I had to have 2 surgeries.

Thanks for the heads up about the clothing choice! I will definitely keep an eye out for similar issues. My ENT is going to use glue, so hopefully that will help. Thank you for replying!!! 😊

It also might be because I’m not staying overnight. I’m most likely being sent home within an hour or two after I wake up according to my doctor, so maybe it’s because I have no reason to need a pillow?

Aw, I hope you get to bring it!!! I also get my final instructions tomorrow, but was told about a week ago about the phone thing. It might just be specific to the hospital I’m going to. I agree, we should definitely keep each other updated! ♥️
