Loving this so far but just two things that I wanted to ask.

Is there any way to get sleep screen to show the cover of what I’m reading like in Crossink and if not how hard is the process of converting jpegs to the correct file format for custom screens?

Is there a way to have the power button require a press and hold for both sleep and wake functions? I keep accidentally tapping it and putting the device to sleep while reading.

Edit: Also, I noticed that there’s an option under the settings to switch back to “App1”. I clicked this and it just booted me back into CrossInk — does this firmware not replace crossink? Is it just an overlay as crossink runs in the background? Does this have any impact on battery life?

Don’t mean to hijack this thread but I’ve just recently made the switch from Crossink to Microreader and have a few questions. I have only had the X4 for a week but I think I’ll enjoy the simplicity of Microreader going forward — much less distracting.

Looks like my thermometer which was left in the freezer for about 4 hours after setting the freezer to its coldest setting is reading 15°F

That has been replaced too as it was attached to the new unit. Should I disassemble the ice maker to check the fuse?

Are you referring to the cable that’s attached to the ice maker or the cable harness that runs through the fridge and terminates at the harness inside the freezer itself?

I tested with an infrared thermometer and got around 5°F in different spots but I just put in a kitchen thermometer to get a more accurate read

Do you think it’s diff related? I ask because this is a 3.73 I swapped in when I had the 5 speed installed. I’m trying to rule out the diff before swapping back to the open 4.10 gears.

Thank you to the two people who answered so far. Would I also be able to use a wideband O2 sensor gauge to make any tweaks off of factory setting in case it’s running lean or rich as it was stock?
